I am very happy with Nature's Way turmeric, especially in this form. I'd bought other brands previously, which were the powdered turmeric in capsules. Too many times I found myself in a plume of powdered turmeric exploding from my mouth - literally. Each time the capsule had burst open only a little way down my esophagus. It then created a PLUME of actual powder coming out from my mouth. One of the most bizarre experiences. I can only surmise the capsules were cheap grade. It was awful. No way I was going to try another brand so I looked for a tablet form. There are great. They're large but I'm good w/ that. If others aren't, get a pill cutter and cut in half. Any Nature's Way product I've had has been excellent, and these are no exception. I'm taking this along with Milk Thistle for my liver after being diagnosed with a fatty liver. Not good. Curcumin tremendously reduces liver fat in patients with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. This is caused by too many carbs. In randomized double-blind placebo-controlled trial, patients taking (500 mg/day equivalent to 70-mg curcumin) over 8 wks had a {get this}... 78.9% reduction in the fat of their liver!! That's amazing. Have also begun taking Tudca; you can read reviews here on Amazon. It's fantastic for your liver, elevated liver enzymes, gallbladder, bile production, gut health, digestion, protects from viruses, helps the thyroid, helps the heart, is neuroprotective (nervous system and brain) which means Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Huntington's, strokes, and gene expression. Amazing stuff.

YOU TAKE THIS and NOT just Turmeric spice! And you must take ENOUGH to get the immediate (WITHIN ONE DAY) PAIN and inflammation relief. This works because it is 450mg of concentrated CURCUMIN EXTRACT (the active ingredient) per tablet, many other brands cheap out and only put 50 mg per tablet, which isn't enough to get real relief, because other brands fill the tablet with worthless Turmeric root and very little concentrated curcumin extract, the real medicine in Turmeric. This brand IS SAFER because it DOES NOT HAVE BIOPERINE!BEWARE of other brands that have BIOPERINE! Sure, bioperine will cause meds to be absorbed more readily, but it makes ALL your OTHER meds, NOT JUST THE TURMERIC, be absorbed into your blood more readily TOO. You risk the bioperine causing your OTHER MEDS TO be absorbed much more than usual which risks having an overdose of your OTHER MEDS Because bioperine causing your other meds to be as if you took double doses!I DON'T NEED OTHER PAIN MEDS when I take this brand of Turmeric, that has 450mg of 95% Curcumin extract per tablet. If I am just starting a RA Flareup inflammation, I will take 2 or 3 tablets with food on the morning of the first day of the flare up and 2-3 tablets the evening of the first day of the flare up. By the morning of the second day it will be SO much better you will think the flareup might be gone, but go ahead and take two tablets in the morning and two the evening of the second day anyway. The third day I will take two in the morning and one at night The fourth day I will take one in the morning and one at night. By the fifth day after the flare up started I never have any pain, inflammation or swelling at all, so I just take ONE NATURE'S WAY BRAND turmeric in the morning daily thereafter as a prophylactic (preventive) to ward off future RA flare-ups unless I trigger one by not getting enough sleep, staying up all night, or just "overdoing it".)

I purchased this along with magnesium and vitamin D to help with weight loss. This is the quality you are looking for and does not upset my stomach.

I am a country boy. Once i moved to City (Bangalore) I suffered from severe allergy for years. Then one of my colleague suggested to try turmeric with milk. I started drinking half glass milk mixed with 1/4th spoon of turmeric. After 3 months finally my allergies which had troubled for 7-8 years disappeared. Now instead of drinking turmeric with milk I started using this prodiuct (quick and easy to swallow and easy to carry when travelling).I leave in US and have made several trips to Bangalore and each time I had no allergies (In between while in US I had stopped taking turmeric and when I visited Bangalore i had same issues for few weeks).Now before my trip to Bangalore a month before I start taking this pills once a day for 30-45 days and I can be safe in entire trip and I even dont get allergies any more due to pollen even in USA. Great Stuff !!! It works for me.I cant tell how much I have spent before finding turmeric (A Great Gift by Indian Ayurveda to the world:)) on allergy medicine and the side effects of those medicines (constant sleeping). No more such issues now.

For years I suffered from an undiagnosable itching on both legs from below my knees to my ankles. Drs helped not at all. Almost intolerable itching. I happened to mention this to a friend in LA who days earlier had read about crazy-making itching in a "home remedy" LA Times article. "Try turmeric," said she. I did. Bought it from one of the GNC health emporia at a mall. It wiped out my leg itching essentially immediately. And its price was outrageously high for a common Indian spice one probably can buy for pennies per pound in India. Years passed. I kept putting up with ridiculous price increases. Finally my mental amazon light lit and I checked amazon's price. L&B (lo and behold,) I've been buying this Nature's Way (the only one I've tried from amazon) from amazon ever since. I take one capsule 3X a day; I'm not a medical doctor, so don't give my dosage comment more attention than it deserves (aka little if any.) By the way, I have no idea what its usual application is, let alone whether it's any good for anything else.

There is no vitamin in the works that works after a few uses, but after 3 to 6 months you can, but only when is this good of a quality.
