I love this item. I use it on the tripod, but you can take the strip of lights off and carry them anywhere you have electricity. Turn all three on and they will light up whatever you need. I usually just use one. They put out heat, so that is the only drawback. I would prefer that they had a switch on the cord. Each light has its own button. That is the only drawback I have found. The tripod has an extender pole and is also adjustable itself and the entire thing is very sturdy.

Replaced a two light halogen setup with this one, and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Just having a light source that isn't so hot is a huge deal in tight, complex work spaces. The fact that this light is 2x brighter or more is just a bonus. The tripod is over-built if anything, but that extra weight isn't an issue, and it makes the lights very sturdy. I keep the tripod an minimum expansion to take up less floor space, and I can easily grab the light by the handle while on a ladder and reposition it without fear of it falling over. The over-build base also points out the only slight disappointment with this setup. Much more could have been done with the lights and how they are arranged. I would have loved to see the ability for them to extend out or articulate to get light from two angles on the project. It would have also helped get a light in more tight spaces like closet corners. This could easily be done DIY.Assemply of the tri-pod is easy but the center light and bar is fiddly and there are no instructions. The order of the bolts, washers, spacers and bracket is important and it only works one way but there are 9 possible ways to do it. Woudl have also appreciated detachable cord on the light side rather than hard wired.

I found this to be an excellent buy for the price and it certainly is bright! Each LED panel is quite sufficient to illuminate an average room and rotatable in different directions the three panel set is quite sufficient for most any space. The stand is sturdy and easily adjustable. And while the panels do get hot, they are not nearly so hot at the halogen bulbs. My only complaint is in the wiring. Each panel connects to a 3-way hub using a screw on "DIN" connector which means they cannot be used independently. The mounting bracket would allow the panels to be hung/strapped or screwed separate from the stand, if the wiring wasn't proprietary. At some point, I will replace the connectors with a standard 3-prong plug to allow them independence of the set. Otherwise, I'm pleased.

Packaged nicely, easy to assemble. Overall very bright also! The one odd thing is there are 3 lights on the cross bar, and each light is labeled as 70W. The three lights are powered by a single plug, though you can turn them on/off individually. With all lights on I plugged the light to a watt-smart device and it listed the power draw as only 150W. You would think with three 70W lights it would pull ~210W....So I think they are cheating on what lights are actually on there, but it's still bright enough and pulling less power than listed is better than pulling more power I suppose.

I am so pleased with this light. I cut granit and sometimes these new places don't have power yet. I hook this up to my little portable generator and it lights up everything. Very sturdy and well made. This also has more adjustment than the locally purchased one I have. If you need a great work light for an excellent price check it out.

This LED work light with stand exceeded my expectations with it's powerful lighting capabilities, lightweight design and easy to assemble with clear instructions. The quality is impressive for such a reasonable price. This LED work light is worth every penny and I give it my highest endorsement without any reservations.

Hands-down one of the best purchases I’ve ever made on Amazon. This work light is incredibly bright—seriously, it turns night into day. The tripod stand is sturdy and easily adjustable well over 6 feet, and the three separate heads make it simple to angle the light exactly where you need it. Perfect for home projects like painting or refinishing floors. One thing to note: even though it’s LED, these lights get surprisingly hot after a while, so keep that in mind. Still, for the price, nothing else comes close. Absolutely recommend it.

Despite one flaw, this is a great products. The brightness it produces is amazing. The lights can be switched on and off individually. The quality is decent. I am very happy with it. Regarding the flaw, the lights do not rotate down. They can be positioned horizontally or upward. So if you need the the lights to shine towards the floor, you are out of luck, unless you modify the design by including very thick washers between the bracket and the the housing of the lights, which I did.
