Easy to use and secure crimps and connections
This tool is vital for the style of RJ45 connector with a metal shield. I wish they would list the compatibility as I studied the connector ensuring the same design and it worked great with my specific Monoprice connector.

Good tool if you have to crimp lots of jacks
Depicted: CableMatters Cat6A heads on SolidLink Cat6A S/FTP 23AWG cable. These heads work perfectly, and this tool helps a ton.PRO:+inexpensive, seriously.+for CableMatters Cat6A heads, this works perfectly.+Crimps and secures grounded cable to the head, whether or not you hear an audible click.+has a recess for the keystone retention clip.CON (honestly none, just buy it):-literally none, if you buy those jacks just buy this tool and get over yourself. It's cheap. Most tools for this kind of job cost $30-100. This costs like $5. Get over it and buy it, it helps a ton.

Really helps close those tough keystone jacks
Although tool-less keystone jacks are supposed to be, well, tool-less I often terminate very thick conductor Ethernet cable and sometimes the keystone, no matter how careful I am, just does not want to close unless I apply a set of parallel jaw pliers to them. Rather than risk damage with pliers, I bought this tool and it really does work. My sanity is now preserved! The price is right, especially given how much time this thing has saved me and my fingers/hands from undue pain. Construction is of ABS, so you would be hard pressed to break it.

Doesn't work for shielded keystones
I bought this because I had a bunch of shielded network keystones to assemble. I bought the same company's keystones so I thought they would work. The device isn't strong enough to snap the closure together, so the keystone didn't stay together. I tried it on several before just using my fingers to close them.Completely useless for the advertised purpose.

Cheaply made plastic tool that can help only if you have a lot of terminating to do
Cheaply made plastic that gets the job done. It's basically the same as pliers, but a more flat surface and made of plastic. For the price I would really have expected the quality to be better.

This tool is awesome.
This tool makes crimping toolless keystone jacks easy. I used it with Cable Matters CAT 6A shielded keystone jacks (B00CLVAJCK), and some thick 7.4mm OD CAT 6A Riser Bulk Cable. Works perfectly!
