Impressive!
Bought as a gift for my son, he wanted one for underground exploration. This is a serious flashlight! It's compact, solid and has/does everything he wanted - spot, flood, both at the same time, different colored lights, intensity from super bright to moonlight. It was a huge hit - he loves it!

Excellent light with one flaw
I love this light very much except for one major thing, the rgb light feature is very dim and that is quite disappointing to me. But other then that i love this light its extremely bright on flood mode and goes VERY far on spot mode, ive gotten a few compliments about it from friends and coworkers they think its crazy cool.

My favorite flashlight
I have 5 different flashlights from Acebeam in which the M2-X is by far my favorite. From night-time hiking adventures to being down the beach with the family and going on a night walk down the shoreline, you can’t go wrong. The quick side button allows you to switch over to the spotlight with ease allowing you to see a farther distance fast, which half the time the main floodlight is bright enough. The water resistance is helpful especially in the rain, even when I dropped it in the ocean and quick fished it back out. If you use the highest setting on the flood light the body does get hot but not hot enough for you to drop it or put it down. My only wish would be the multi color RGB lights be brighter as they don’t work as a valid light but more to grab the attention of someone. It’s an exceptional flashlight and I’ll certainly be back for more!

Interesting light with a lot of potential, but needs design improvements to make it more practical
The design of the M-2X is interesting. Its a nice compact shape and feels hardened to take abuse... The different switch settings for the white LED are pretty useful, offering a tight spot like beam, or a wide area light... The auxiliary LED offers a plethora of different colors, but is hampered by a poor electronic switch... Whenever you switch to the auxiliary light, its a bit of a counterintuitive pain to either switch from one color to another, and each time you turn off the light, you have to repeat the experience because there is no light memory... It would be nice to see in future iterations of the light to have a better electronic switch that allows the user to switch between light colors, with little difficulty, and with a memory locking feature, so that if you set a color, it stays on that color until the user changes it... Another design flaw is the belt clip points in the wrong direction, orienting the light downward... Most people are likely to use the strobe functions of the light by point the LEDs upward, and the clip counterintuitively points the LEDs down... Again, not a bad light, but could use some design improvements , to make it a better light...

Great flashlight with both flood and throw.
Great flashlight with the option for flood or throw, or even both at the same time! I use it at work and have it clipped to my shoulder and it’s perfect. I like the ability to be able to turn it on to the lowest setting so as not to blind yourself when the situation calls for low light. I don’t use the colored LEDs much but it’s good to have. Highly recommended if you need both flood and throw beams in one flashlight.

Great spot and flood and can do a combo
Especially when on sale, it is hard to beat this combo of LEP spot and nice flood output. Really puts a lot of power into a small package. I thought I wouldn't like the feel in the hand, but it is great. The tail switch doesn't make sense for the shape though. It is very recessed making it difficult to activate and it is more natural to cary with a side switch instead.

Useless colored LEDs
I have a crapton of expensive high quality flashlights and many of them are acebeam. I also have this ones big brother the terminator m1 which is gorgeous btw. This one is smaller and I like the white color. It’s cool just to look at. Both the flood and spot beams are more than bright enough for this price range. But the spot has only one brightness level but has really good range. As for the rgb LEDs…useless. Not very bright at all not even the green. The red is fine for reading and as a night light. The red also flashes ( and I think the green too) but I don’t think it can be used for flagging someone down in an emergency at far distances. I like rgb LEDs incorporated with my lights but they have to be bright and entertain me with different types of flashing patterns like a police red and blue strobe. Honestly, I was considering returning it but I am a collector so it will just remain on the display shelf.

The Perfect EDC flashlight!
This thing is awesome, period. A 900 lumen spotlight and 3200 lumen floodlight in one compact package that fits, literally, in the palm of your hand. It's build quality is magnificient as well. One thing to be aware of is that there are multiple models of this light. There is the Terminator and Terminator-X and both of those have two different color options and two different emitter options. The -X model has updated ergonomics that just work better. My only complaint would be the pocket clip, it is just too stiff for ease of use. An EDC light, well anything really, should be relatively easy to put in and pull out of your pocket. The clip is so stiff you just can't. Aside from that though it really is the perfect light. I really like Acebeam, them and Olight are my two favorites I think but Acebeam is really starting to pull me in. Anyway I have written enough I think. I highly recommend this flashlight.
