Beautiful leash, but it is very thin and flimsy and lacks the appearance of strength. It might be tough as nails, but I returned it because I did not want to risk the life of my new Shelter adoptee doggie. She came from an abusive background and tends to freak out at just about everything. I want the leash to be strong and pretty, not just pretty. For smaller dogs, I would say this one would work fine.

I got this leash for my 4lb maltese, and it is very stylish and well made. The clasp that attaches to the dog's collar/harness is very secure. The actual silver color of the leash matches the photo on the Amazon listing. The length (72 inches) is just right.
