When I first used it, I failed to lock it and when I went to sit, it collapsed. Luckily I was testing it so I did not use my full body weight. It came in handy and does not take up space being stored in my car.

Bought <used-like new> condition just to test it out and it's pretty convenient. Easy to put together and easy to collapse back to carry. The size fits in a backpack so I didn't need the long strap. The small down side, which I'm not sure if it's due to the condition I bought it in, is that at its natural state (not pulled out into a chair) the chair is not tightly pulled by the spring inside which made me want to have a strap around it to secure, or a lock latch. Otherwise it's been great so far. I'm 160lbs and the seat holds fine. I'm 5'3 and the adjustable height was helpful. The seat is not too tall to begin with, it's a normal park bench height. I wish the weight could be a little lighter to carry but not sure how that would affect quality.

Works well but you have to sit on it squarely, otherwise it tears up and collapses.

This is great for those who want the convenience of always having a seat handy without the bulk of a folding chair. Great for outdoors or places with no seating .I would highly recommend this stool. It is portable and lightweight, easy to use and to store. 5 stars.

This is exactly what I was looking for. It is very light weight and portable. I leave it in my car so we have it when we go to events. There is always table space but no chairs. It fits in the basket of a walker but would also fit in a backpack or large purse. It seems like a very good quality and with all the color options everyone can have their own color. We took it to a get together that didn’t have enough chairs a this was very comfortable to sit on. However depending on your butt size the round top might be uncomfortable the longer you sit on it.

I have a more expensive version of one of these that I use on a daily basis at work and bought this cheaper version for students clinicians that do rotations with me a few months. At first these were fine, in fact the opening of them seems smoother than my more pricey stool. But after a year of not even daily use, one of them has broken and the other the strap tore off making it difficult to transport. The broken one has a whole tier of notches that broke off which makes it unable to lock in place and the whole thing would start collapsing when sat upon. Maybe the students didn’t care for them very well but seems like it ought to be able to handle some abuse.

I purchased 2 and they work great, couldn’t give it a 5 star review because the strap came off of one of them. I had to just hold it under my arm until the event we went to was over. But the stools a very sturdy.
