These baking mats have been a fantastic addition to my sourdough baking routine. They hold up really well to high oven temps and provide a nice, even surface for baking boules and batards. I'm not sure if I could actually live without these! Perfect for baking both small and large sourdough loaves. Heat resistant. Easy to remove from my Dutch oven. Extremely durable. Easy to use.

These work well for baking sourdough. I was tired of parchment paper baking into the bottom of my bread because it wasn’t rated for high enough temperatures. These silpat baking mats did the trick. My only complaint is the strips that make it easy to lift from the pan will sometimes flop over the bread during baking. I also trimmed the bottom of the mat so it would fit more easily in my pan without wrinkling into the bread and distorting the shape. That being said, they’re easy to use and wash, keep my bread from burning on the bottom and are much more cost-effective than parchment paper!

This is a great idea. Takes the place of parchment paper when baking sourdough in a hot oven.

this worked SO great. and now I won't have to go thru endless rolls of parchment paper when I bake sourdough bread. it was fine that the Dutch oven lid sat on it for the 1st 1/2 of baking. lifted the finished bread easily & cleaned right off. I am very happy.
