I have been a lapswimmer for 40+ years. I have always used the most common cap available (well known name).I decided to try this cap (so many good reviews) and would never have guessed I would be SO thrilled with mynew cap !!! I have used it twice with great joy. I do have shoulder length hair , which it accommodates nicely - though I am sure it would accommodate more hair than I have. I think it would be great for short hair also.It may have more to do with the size/shape of your head - I don't know .... I just know that for the first time ever,I do not have to tug on the cap during my swim to cover my ears. It stays in place perfectly and is SO comfortable. I wet my hair and then put some conditioner on it before putting on my swim cap (to try to save it some from the chlorine) . I think it might actually fit snug enough to keep my hair mostly dry, if I so desire.I use silicone putty in my ears - and it helped the putty stay perfectly in place through my 40 minute swim today. The thickness is better than the last famous name brand cap I purchased (they had become thinner).I was extolling my new cap to a swimmer friend , and after swimming she tried it on. She Loved it ! (she has also been using same famous name brand cap).I have never headed to review something right away , but I love the difference this cap has made in my swim life.

These are pretty good to look at but didn't work for me. First time, I put my hair in a ponytail and braided it, 5 % of my hair got wet. I hated it. Next time, I looked up a video in yt by a swim coach and did the exact same thing. It was like I never wore a swim cap.P.S. It probably is because I did not put them on properly. But these are pretty big. If you normally wear swim cap and know how to put it on, buy these. 4 stars because these are good, it's just me.I love the glasses though!! Really good, does not get foggy if put on properly.

I purchased this set primarily because of the 'Solid Long Hair Earmuffs,' which are the best features of the cap. Part of my problem was getting water in my ears. Due to the style, I can participate in my swim technique class with confidence and accuracy. Prior to this purchase, I bought plugs, but did not feel comfortable putting them in my ears. I bought this product because it comes with plugs and the nose clip for the same amount of money I paid for just a cap and plugs. My swim instructor didn't want me to use the plugs because i wouldn't be able to hear instructions while in the water. My hair did get wet. Water did seep in and get in my ear on one side of my head. However, I discovered that I had not pulled the cap down far enough on both sides. Once configured correctly, I could immerse my head without worrying about wet hair or ears and I could focus on accurate technique. I like that the 'ear muffs' flip up if you need to listen for instruction. Also, the cap was thick enough that pulling didn't lead to tearing. That it comes with a 90-day warranty is equally compelling. Some of my swim mates have caps they've worn for 3 months that are now tearing. I feel confident about product value (compare 3 items, for the price of 1, at sporting goods stores) as well as the quality.

I have a swimmer who swims about four times a week, and this product has been easy to use. It's stretchy enough to put on without much hassle. However, it's on the thinner side, so be careful when handling it, especially around the ear area, as it may rip over time.

I’ve had ear infections from the time I was 2 years old. Hasn’t stopped me from swimming. I don’t go under the water, obviously no diving since I have a permanently perforated eardrum so at first glance this cap was appealing. I don’t have a big head, high school commencement cap was 7.25 inches. This cap is small and short and spent an entire swim pulling it down and dealing with an air bubble at the top of my head while wearing the cap. Inferior product. I had hoped to buy this cap in bulk since I swim 7 days a week.

My big guy head needs the extra room this cap affords. It seals nicely and has enough expandability to adjust over my ear plugs, helps minimize water infiltration too. The silver reflects the heat gain while swimming in the sun. Thicker gauge material, Ear plugs are a bonus and I really like this cap!

I discovered I like silicone overlay text. It fits comfortably on my head. It actually keeps the top 2/3 of my head dry the air flaps roll up when you do flip turns and I wear my goggles on the outside of my cap to keep my cat from sliding around, I would recommend it but it won’t keep your hair completely dry or your ears completely dry either
