I got sucked in by the marketing hype of this brand and it pains me to admit it.I have used Aloe Vera gels for years and have never paid this much for one before. Having worked in natural health for years I like to think I know what to look for in natural, pure products.Poppy Austin’s packaging is lovely. It’s slick and it’s simple and it matches their pure ethos.In my opinion the contents do not match the packaging.I couldn’t work out why my skin was drying out and felt tight these last few weeks when normally aloe gel instantly soothes and calms my face. I double checked the ingredients and ingredient one is not even aloe. It’s water. Water!!!Even my £5 bottle of Aloe Pura has pure aloe as it’s first and primary ingredient with no water added!The ingredients listed on Amazons item page do not match those on the actual bottle. I am not happy.I paid £15 for watered down aloe Vera which has dried out my already sensitive skin.Seriously unimpressed and it’s unlikely I’ll purchase from this brand again.

I love the pump action metal bottle so easy to use either pump onto your hand or straight onto the affected area of skin. As i have suffered with a dry and itchy scalp for many years and my hair is thin I thought I would try something different as i have read that pure Aloe Vera gel is good for the scalp and may help my hair growth. It has definately helped and I will continue to use it regularly.

Asked my wife what she wanted for her Birthday this year and her exact words were..."anything from Poppy Austin."The product arrived super quick and I was very impressed with the packaging...it looks fantastic. Perfect to give as a gift. Plus, the aluminium bottle is very high quality.My wife has been using the Aloe Vera every day saying it feels fresh on her skin and is a joy to use.For the first time in years I've actually bought something she likes! In future I will be buying Poppy Austin products for Birthdays and Christmas.

I have just purchased a second Aloe Vera Gel from Poppy Austin, I like the fact that it is organic and freshly made.I suffered with a rash that was very itchy and having used this within 2 weeks it was so much better and not itchyI use it twice a day, and now use it on my face and body as a moisturiser as it soaks in really well and doesn't leavethe skin sticky even in this very hot weather, my skin looks and feels more hydrated than it did before. Would definitelyrecommend this.

Product is great for an itchy scalp but the pump snapped after a weeks use.

Provided fast cooling relief from tight uncomfortable skin after getting sun burned.Have tried other brands in the UK over the years, but this is the best I've come across. Pricey, but the closest I've found to using the natural plant extract. It was very effective, so despite the price, easy to recommend.

Sadly, like others, the pump did not work on my product so I am returning it. Disappointed, as love other Poppy Austin products and was looking forward to using this.

Use this in diy primer and general skin use. Brilliant stuff. This was the purest I could find. No complaints at all 😊
