I purchased a cross body leather bag that hung too low. Was going to return it and saw this gadget. It worked so effortlessly. I made sure the puncher was matched closely to the size hole needed, and just placed the strap underneath it, being careful to line it up to the middle and pressed down. It took very little effort! The grip is easy to hold and very easy to press. Worked on the first try. This is a great value for the money and I'm glad I purchased it. Easy to follow instructions are included. Highly recommend!! I'm over age 65 and make bags with leather straps and other leather accents. The KingTool Puncher is so easy to use because it has the double-lever mechanism which many punchers don't have. That one difference allows me to work longer with less or no pain at the end of the day.

I needed another hole in my belt. I wanted something that I could use again and again. This one works great! The handle is comfortable to grip and squeeze even with the double lever. It is easy to turn the little wheel to choose a hole size between the six options. It worked great on my leather belt. The punch is very effective and the brass base is very strong, making it easy to punch a hole. I also used this on our dogs collar and it worked well. Came with a little Phillips head screw driver, a grinding rod, 3 punch guides and a little ruler. The punch also has a handle lock. Very well made, durable and easy to use. I would recommend this

Several years ago I ordered a little 6 Hole punch set in order to add some additional holes in some of my leather belts. It seems like everybody makes the holes in their belts 1 inch apart on center. And that just caused me problems. Too often, that one inch meant that either the belt was too tight or too loose. When I added extra holes at the 1/2 inch mark, I immediately had more sizing flexibility. However, the set I bought (through Amazon in 2011) had six punches that could be screwed into a metal awl. Tog et the hole punched into a leather belt, I had to position the belt over a piece of wood, and then take a hammer and pop one end of the awl to drive the punch through the belt. I quickly found out that, in order to get a hole in the belt approximately the same size as its adjoining holes, I had to use a punch with a hole a LOT smaller that the holes already in the belt (when I did the first one, I chose a punch with a hole the same size as the holes in the belt and the hole that I punched out ended up way bigger than the existing holes in the belt). I am happy to report that this tool is not like those punches at all.When I saw this tool, I immediately knew that it "should" be way more convenient than the little set that I had used before (and I still have it). But, I figured that I would still need to choose a punch in a similar manner to that described above. I chose a belt in my closet that was brand new but had never been used or "improved" with extra holes. I found the older punch set and tried to match the punch size in this tool to the size of the one in the older tool set that produced the desired hole size. To my surprise, this tool did NOT work like that older set. The first hole that I punched was too small. I made that one bigger by rotating to a larger one. Then I went to a larger punch that was closer to the size I wanted and it worked. The truth is, this set works just like it is supposed to work. The design is excellent. You still have six selectable punches that vary in hole size. With this tool, you will actually need to select a size that is roughly equivalent to the size of the hole that you are matching. It is easy to use and works great. The punched hole is clean and that is what you want. There is a plastic piece with a little metal punch plate built in that screws into place at the bottom of the "punch end". And they include three "extra" punch plates with your order. A very nice tool that will not disappoint.

I have had a number of hole punchers this style with the rotating head and different sizes. The thing that sets this punch apart from the others is the double action and comfortable handles. The double action makes it easier to squeeze and the comfortable handles are great when you have a lot of holes to punch. The punch works great on leather and I have used it on canvas and thick plastic sheeting as well.Great price for a high quality tool.

i like this hole punch, it works well. The rotating punch has multiple sizes to punch different diameter holes. it is made to be durable. I was surprised at some of the things I'm able to punch holes in. The punch pins are sharp, they will punch clean holes leaving a perfect circle of material leftover.so to end I am recommending this hole punch. It's a good deal for the price and comes with some nice extras.
