An easy way to stay in tune!
I suspect that my ten-year-old clip-on tuner is on its last legs and that particular model is no longer in production, so I have been on the lookout for something new. This Aroma tuner has a couple of big advantages over my old tuner: the first is that the LED display, although smaller, is in color; it’s also very clear and easy to read - so it’s easy to tell when each string is in tune. The other advantage - and this is what I like most about the Aroma tuner - is that it is rechargeable: a USB-C cable is not supplied with the unit, but I have a couple of those at home, so no more hunting for a coin battery when the tuner stops working!I use it to tune two acoustic guitars [a six-string and a twelve-string], three electric guitars [two six-strings and a twelve-string], and a bass. It can also be used to tune a violin and ukulele. It is easy to cycle through the settings on the display to select the instrument to be tuned: at first, the tuner seemed to struggle to identify the top two strings on my bass - but it got there eventually. Aside from that slight hitch, I have had no issues with the tuner and I have no complaints: it is a convenient and inexpensive must for any guitarist.

Pretty nice little tuner, couple of downsides but generally good
This tuner is a clip-on unit that is rechargeable via a USB-C port. The USB-C cable is not included, so be sure you already have a USB-C charging cable on hand for this tuner. The tuner has a single button... hold to power on or off, and single-press to change the tuning mode. The modes are chromatic, guitar, bass, violin, and ukulele. Each type has a single-letter representation on the bottom of the screen, so you know which tuning mode you are in.I clipped the tuner to an acoustic guitar and to an acoustic bass. The chromatic mode didn't want to find the B-string on my guitar, but when I moved the tuner mode to "Guitar" wit worked just fine. For bass, the tuner wasn't picking up the open E and A strings, but picked up the 12th-fret harmonic just fine. The tuner clips to the headstock easily, and it is rotatable so you can get the face of the tuner oriented to where you can see it once it is clipped on.I liked the easy recharging method for the tuner. The screen is bright and easy to read, and the meters are clear in telling you which way you need to tune your string.Overall a nice little tuner with a couple of issues that are easy to compensate for. And again you'll want to look elsewhere for a tuner if you don't have a USB-C charging cable already.

Accurate and Easy to Use
I'm not an expert on tuners, but as far as I can tell, this tuner is accurate. I do play the piano as well, and checking the tuning of my ukulele against the piano corroborates the accuracy of the tuner. The instructions are clear and easy to understand, and the tuner is very easy to use. I'm very happy with this tuner!

smaller than most tuners, bright display is easy to read
I love that this tuner is rechargeable, not just because disposable batteries are non-recyclable toxic waste, but also because the flimsy battery doors used by many devices break and/or get lost too easily. This tuner appears to no removable parts to get lost. I like that the screen displays the current battery level so I know when I need to recharge it and charging is pretty quick. I also like that that clamp has a hinge so it is less likely to break than those Snark tuners.Overall size of this tuner is smaller than most others, but the display is bright and easy to read. The small size is great for carrying in my pocket or gig bag, but the small size must also mean the battery is smaller, since I need to recharge this tuner more often (maybe twice as often) as a larger rechargeable tuner that I got from Amazon. The battery level is displayed on the screen, so recharging more often isn't that big of a deal. They claim that this tuner is accurate to 0.5 cents, which is better than most inexpensive tuners that only claim accuracy to 1.0 cents. However, I cannot easily test their accuracy since it does not display the numerical cents like some other tuners do. When I try to compare this tuner to others that are clamped to the same instrument, the readings look very similar. One might be faster or slower, but the values are always very close.Unlike many other tuners, there is no way to change the tuning from 440Hz, though I admit that I have never needed to change the frequency and I hate when that setting activates by accident on other tuners.

Works ok, not the best. USB C charging is nice, no cable included.
My main reason for getting this was because I was tired of my other tuner that had replaceable batteries. There is nothing wrong with the operation of my other tuner I just would rather be able to recharge it rather than replace batteries all the time. This new tuner is really compact, the screen can pivot on the clamp, one button operation, and as I mentioned is USB C rechargeable (charging cable is not included). I will say that this does work and I was able to get my guitar tuned with it but I had to do some playing around with it to get it to find the right strings a number of times. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong but I don't have this problem with my old tuner and I'm going to hang onto my old one for a backup in case I have any other issues with this in the future.

Good rechargeable tuner
This tuner has a USB C connection for charging the built-in battery. No battery changes and no need to purchase extra batteries. To turn on and off, hold the power button for about three seconds. The tuner is accurate and easy to read. I always leave my tuners in chromatic mode but this tuner has several modes that can be selected by short pressing the power button. The modes are: chromatic (C), guitar (G), bass (B), violin (V), and ukulele (U).
