Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love this device for so many reasons! 1) It allows me to use the same SSID as my existing network!!! Amen to this! To be clear, the unit defaults to it’s own wifi network, but as you go through the simple installation process, it gives you the option to select your own existing SSID. Amen! 2) To my surprise, it installed in less than 20-minutes!!! 3) Although the product description does not say this, the LAN port on this device can be used to accept input from my wired network! Again, the LAN port in this device can be used to accept input from my wired network! They should do a better job marketing this feature. Please know I purchased and returned 2 or 3 other devices from other manufacturers and they all consumed hours of my time and disappointed me! More about me: I use Comcast Xfinity and their wireless router is pretty good, but does not reach everywhere in my house. House is 3 stories and approximately 2500 square feet. My Comcast wireless router is attached to my wired home network. This D-Link device is attached to the same physical home network using a Cat-6 cable.

Quick install. Ethernet extension great for office phone.

What a mistake! Bought this to extend the range of my ATT fiber modem/router which resides in the basement. The quick install guide listed 3 install options-NONE of them worked although the light on the extender indicated it was functioning properly. After spending >1 hour on the support line we finally got it working, but even after reading the complete instruction manual I would never had got it working without his help. Even the Tech got stuck on certain bugs we encountered and admitted that none of the 3 quick install options were functioning correctly but was eventually able to find workarounds. It seems to be working now.

I picked this extender up to replace a Netgear Nighthwak that was causing more problems than it solved. The D-Link AX3000 is inexpensive and provides a quick and easy install and setup. My primary purpose was to provide WiFi to an outside security camera. it works as advertised. Many other WiFi connected devices in my house have connected to it and I see no lag or other performance issues. Overall, very happy with this extender.

Good product. It works with default settings. The phone app is handy for accessing device settings, and there's also an option to access it through the browser for advanced settings. The casing design looks good on the wall and it takes up only out wall outlet allowing you to make use of the other outlet - unlike many other wall mount units taking up both outlets.

Given the glowing reviews from people who stated their WiFi signal was much improved using this extender, I expected far more performance than we got. It was quite easy to set up and integrate with our D-Link router but trying to connect to the thing a 2nd time after a blip in router signal happened, it seemed impossible. (I'm roughly Intermediate in tech knowledge) Pretty expensive item to be unhappy with.

FINALLY! No more choppy wi fi at home!!! This mesh extender is PERFECT and exactly what I needed to give my room wifi. My room is at the top corner of my house the furtherst point from my modem on the main floor. All I had to do was plug this in and connect and it was perfectly set up. I was so happy with the ease of setup and the great WiFi connection it now gives me 10/10, extremely happy and pleased with this!

This little extender is great! Just remember the further away it is from the router the weaker the signal and speed. I live in a basement Suite and connected this through the app and its giving us 200mbps in pur office. Works for gaming too. Very impressed and happy with this product. Also we didn't need physical access to our router at all, all done remotely, no cords just plug in and connected the app. Works perfectly!

The extender did not connect to WiFi.

Software doesn't work keeps going back to first screen. Once you manually set it up by ip and not app you can connect but only gives speeds up to 100Mb even though I have fiber at 1gig
