Versatile and functional! Almost perfect.
I wanted a sling or crossbody for days when I’m out in the city or at a theme park. Being able to swing the bag in front for easy access to items AND for security was a must. I had a small Herschel crossbody I used while in Asia last year that worked well for small items and it inspired me to look for something in the 5-10 liter range. After some time I decided to give this a bag a try. Pros: 1. It’s very affordable in terms of features. 2. 5.5 liters is a good amount of space to carry your essentials. I could even fit a Hydroflask 32 oz bottle in it! 3. I personally really liked the way the straps are angled, how they swivel to move with your body, and the quick release function. Very handy. 4. The strap is pretty comfortable with a wide pad and is also very versatile due to the loops on it. I like to attach carabiners to hang frequently used items on it. Cons: 1. The only major con I have with this bag is the depth. I would have preferred a slightly shorter bag end to end, and have it taller and deeper to more easily fit a bottle. I know it’s not made with water bottles in mind but it would be a nice to have. I’ve been using this bag regularly for over a year now and the fabric is still almost brand new. I would still recommend this to anyone looking to dive into crossbody bags as a first purchase. I will continue to use this until I find something else that can surpass the functionality of this one (which will be a TALL bar to surpass).

Great bag for insta360
I’ve been using the tomtoc 5.5L sling bag, and it has quickly become my go to everyday bag. The size is perfect for carrying essentials without feeling bulky, and the layout is very well thought out. The material feels durable and high quality, and the zippers are smooth and reliable. Everything stays organized, and it is comfortable to wear for long periods. It works great for daily errands, travel, or carrying tech gear. Overall, it is a clean, practical, and well made sling bag. If you want something compact but spacious enough for everyday use, this one is easy to recommend.

Really Great EDC Bag!
Although I had never heard of this brand before, after watching a few online videos about EDC bags in the 4-5 liter range I saw a couple that mentioned this bag. I was torn between this, a chrome Barrage and Kadet 5 liter as well as an Alpaca 4 liter sling so I ordered all 4 at once and did a comparison and this bag won hands down. It's design lends itself to storing slightly larger items but still being long and thin like the Kadet. I believe it stores more than 5.5 liters of stuff. The internal pocket layout is great and I can keep everything I use frequently in here with room to spare. The build quality is top notch especially with the Xpack material. Plenty of external clip on points and a great strap with a good padded, adjustable shoulder area. The strap is very adjustable, much more so than the Chrome and Alpaca brands which meant I could really dial in the fit whether I'm wearing in the back or to the front. I went with the khaki color which is slightly lighter than the picture but still great. I really like that the internal color is a bright orange. Makes it easy to find things while using.

Practical, tactical, and durable
I have 4 Tomtoc bags, and this is one of my favorites. I bought it for short excursions/hikes/tours or days around a city or hanging around a resort where I didn't need a bigger pack with more gear. While going around town, I easily fit a Kindle, water bottle, sunglasses, keys, wallet, iPods, and other things. I've also used this while going on long bike rides around the city because it can be adjusted to fit snugly and keep from moving around. It is a perfect size to carry all those miscellaneous items and looks great. I've gotten many compliments and questions about it. It's high quality and has been put through the ringer already and it's in great shape. I brought it to a resort in Mexico, where I packed it full of things for days by the pool and hung a towel off it. It came with me to another resort in Maui, where it did the same. I even packed my drone into it with 3 batteries and a controller, with some other small items, while on a hike in Maui. I also use it while I'm out with my 5-month-old daughter to carry my things, such as a few pacifiers, a bottle, toys, etc. The handle on the top, in addition to the sling strap, is solid quality. I also like the magnet clips that make it easy to remove the bag entirely without pulling it over your head, like when you're getting into a car or can't swing the bag around to get what you need.

Great bag that has served me well over the past year
I've had this bag for just over a year now and I've been pretty pleased with it. Given the price tag, I wanted to make sure it would still hold up after some time before writing a review. It has more than held up and survived multiple cross-country trips. It's a little much for an EDC bag in my opinion, but it works fine for that purpose as well if you're fine with a little added bulk. It more than fits my Nintendo Switch Lite (in a case!) plus some miscellaneous daily items (gum, tissue, charging cords, etc.) in the main pocket. The front pocket fits my epi pens and various OTC meds I carry with me just in case (ibuprofen, benadryl, etc.). This bag won't replace a proper backpack or anything but it's perfect for, say, bringing on a flight or on a road trip. I wish it had some more pockets for organization, but what it has is definitely better than the cheaper sling bags I've gotten which had no pockets at all. It also has a key ring, but I haven't used it. The material is stiff and seems decently water resistant, so I haven't had concerns bringing in on rainy days. I do think it wouldn't hold up well to being soaked, so I've only spot washed it. The zippers and pockets look like they're made out of good material, too. The buckles are interesting but I didn't get much out of them that I feel normal buckles wouldn't also deliver. I've read some reviews about squeakiness but personally haven't experienced that. No tears or rips on or in the bag, and I'm not exactly kind with it. I'm 5'6", on the taller end for a woman, and chunky. I find this bag doesn't look hilariously oversized or undersized on me, and it also fits well and looks good on my much taller, heavier male friends. This might be too heavy/large for smaller (under 5') women in my opinion as the length itself is pretty substantial. My main complaints are that the size/bulk make it difficult to carry daily and that it is quite pricey for a casual sling bag, but given how well it's performed, I find the price worth it personally. I'd love to see these in different colorways but the black is basic and minimalist (and good for hiding dirt ;) as a bonus). If you are looking for a more "daily wear" bag, this is overkill imho unless you want to splurge a bit on quality. PROS + has quite the capacity, fits my Switch Lite and miscellaneous daily items easily + storage compartments + build quality feels very solid, seems like it'll last some more years to come CONS - on the bigger/bulkier/heavier side, even when empty - pricey :(

Great bag....except for the squeakiness
I thought this was the1 sling to rule them all and I would have given it a full 5 stars however as the days go by...it was the squeaking that was the setback. I have a LOT of slings from different brands (Travelon, Patagonia, Alpaka, Lululemon, etc) and it was not cheap trying to find the right type of bag for EDC. From trail and error, i settled on looking for a 5L bag. The popular Lululemon Everywhere sling that Stanley sippy cup toting soccer moms rock is only 2L. I like it i have one and even got the more fanny pack looking 2.5L City Adventure bag thinking I need that extra .5 liters and it still wasn't enough. (Side note: Pander on Amazon is a nice dupe for the Everywhere Bag for a fraction of the cost) This sling bag is the right size for small tech (Nintendo switch) phones, a journal and essentials without looking like a fanny pack. (They need to get rid of that dumb shape). Super comfortable strap and a lot of lash points should you need to clip anything to it. It has a sturdy back handle and back hidden zipper. I was very pleased for the first couple of days....until I started hearing the dog toy squeak with every step. On a walk with my friends they thought I had one in my bag. PLEASE TOMTOC - can you do something about that noise? It emits from the 360 clips on the shoulder strap. I love the bag and i will be getting more (looking at you 40L travel bag). I'll keep using the sling because nothing compares to it. I'm sure I'll become "noise blind" to it but if I ever need to sneak out anywhere, this bag will be my demise. :\

Great for the day and commuting
Great bag! The material is very good and sturdy. I use this as my commuter bag on the bus and at work and its very good. All the items are easily accessible and it also holds my switch 2 perfectly, even in a grip case (I used the mumba blade). The strap pad seems thin but after wearing it on a walk for a few hours it's very substantial and the fact that you can move it to where you like depending on your preference is great. I've had no problems getting to any of my items I store easily as well. My daily items contains my key, wallet, switch 2, a charging brick and cable, my kindle, and a power bank. All can be gotten to without having to remove anything else or shift anything around. Easily accessible compartments and nothing is so tightly packed that you need to unpack things. Super well made.

Definitely an Up and Coming Brand to Watch
I now own several tomtoc products and have been pleased with all of them. The company really makes quality products at a very reasonable price. Their products are also very well thought out and made with excellent hardware and materials. I love this sling bag. It has 3 spacious and neatly divided compartments. The addition of the third slightly lower pocket in the back is ideal for wallet, phone, valuables. The front pocket is great for frequently used items such as key, Airpods, flashlight, etc. The middle pocket is very roomy and has an inside mesh zipper pouch and small divided pockets. The high contrast orange interior makes finding items a breeze. The X-Pac material, water-resistant YKK zippers and durable Duraflex buckle all make this a great sling. The location of the one buckle on top places the bag in an ideal position for both accessing and wearing. I highly recommend tomtoc products and this bag in particular.

Lots of space
Gave up my jsaux soft shaped case for this. Using my jasaux har cover over the steam deck and got plenty of room for any powerbank. Handy bag for all appliances.

super mega awesome
This sling bag was a real game changer for my EDC collection. Absolutely amazing! The quality is excellent, the materials feel premium, and the design is both practical and stylish. It easily fits all my everyday carry gear — handhelds, accessories, and other gadgets — with plenty of protection thanks to the padding. It’s also waterproof and extremely comfortable to use. On top of that, it just looks fantastic. Tomtoc, as usual, delivers outstanding quality. Highly recommended!

Love this bag!
I love all sorts of bags, backpacks, messenger bags, pouches, EDC, etc so I did a lot of research before deciding to get this TomToc and I was not disappointed! The overall design and look is great, it looks more slim than what it can actually hold, but if you want a more compact sling this isn't for you, but if you don't mind a slightly larger profile but allowing you to store a lot of things this is perfect! I am able to store a variety of EDC things - mini tool pouch, measuring tape, flashlights, USB cables, first aid kit, wallet, keys, small accessories, all the while adding bag charms and attaching a variety of things to it. Another key point of this design is the strap, it's wide comfortable material with an excellent buckle/swivel design which really sets this apart from most other offerings. Highly recommend!
