Womens Linen Trousers with elastic waistband, 2 patch pockets at the front, Size S - 5XL. Made in Italy

First to say regarding fit - it took me a while to work out what size to order, reviews didn't help much with that. so I am a 5ft 4 inches tall pensioner, with 39 waist and hip ( horror). I order a MEDIUM and they fit, not much room left at the waist but don't have to wriggle into them, length is to my ankles and you can wear them back to front as it makes no difference apart from 2 pockets and 3 darts at the ankle which the model wears to the front, and ample room at hip. I cannot say they are smart, not for going to work but good casual wear. they wash at 30c, No tumble drying and yes to ironing unless you like the creased look. great for beach holiday. The material seems good quality to me, not a heavy linen but quite adequate. I've bought 3 pairs and am keeping them. hope this helps. They also arrived in a few days half the delivery time given so thumbs up all round.

Over the last few years I’ve had several pairs of wide leg linen trousers with a deep jersey waistband bought aeons ago from Monsoon. I’ve worn them so often they now have holes in them, but Monsoon never brought them back. I’ve searched everywhere for replacements, in vain, then came across these which I received today. Love the colour-dark brown, but what stops me giving 5 stars is:- it has the deep jersey waistband I wanted but the inner elastic is only half the depth: feels odd- would prefer a linen mix as I think it would wear better and perhaps not crease quite so badly- I’ve a 34” inside leg and much prefer trouser bottoms, even summer linen, to reach my feet; these stop around six inches short of my ankle.Otherwise I like them.

great design The patch pockets are a bit wrinkly=-generous fit, love the little tucks around the ankles. but a rather pale colour- I saw it came in beige and taupe so expected this to be a stronger deeper shade but it really is a gentle beige/soft khaki which is fine but I am looking for an-easy-to accessorise summer colour that doesn't maximise my lower half. Have relented and ordered navy. Close up photo of waistband would be useful. it is in a different fabric -stretchy cotton jersey and a few inches deep - bit like a yoke and there is elastic inside it - threaded at top part which, I daresay, would be easy to adjust when I loose those pesky extra pounds :-)

These trousers are the best linen trousers I’ve ever purchased, I have them in a multitude of colours and I’m waiting for a pair of dark brown ones to arrive. They are so comfortable, and looks great on. I am more than pleased. Here’s to another pair soon .

I've been bitten before when I've bought linen trousers from sites through Amazon - the cut is often a lot smaller than my normal size 16 so I erred on the side of caution and bought a size larger. And they're too big! I've kept them, altered them slightly by taking in the legs and they are the most comfortable trousers I have. The linen is soft (after washing), good quality and the cut, with the small gathers at the ankles, is really flattering. They sit loose, so my advice would be to buy your usual trouser size. I'm now contemplating buying a second pair in another colour.

Overall I am happy with the trousers, I am a UK size 12 and the large fits perfectly. I wanted lose fitting clothes for dressing up or down and they do just that. Not worn get as they are for summer so not sure how they will wash hence the 4 starr but they seem well made?I would recommend
