Pretty awesome
Theres not too much to say about it, other than its awesome. Size wise and just general overall feel, especially the sticks and triggers its reminicent of a ps3 controller. The d pad is odd. Its like kinda mushy but its clicky at the same time. I like a more mushy d pad and im not huge on the clicky ones but i like this one. The led fire rings are cool, they react to button presses and everything. So far i like it. I will update if anything changes. Also it can be calibrated through software if it ever gets stick drift. Also update the firmware. No regrets. Get it.One month update: fan freakin tastic. Looks good still. Works pretty good. Headset mic is hit or miss thru the plug on the controller but other than that its good. Hasnt let me down yet. Still reccomend.UPDATE IIstill working good. broke in nicely. sticks smoothed out. feels nice in the hand, nicer than any other controller ive ever owned. dont regret buying still. the cream colored backing can start looking a bit rough after a while but im sure it cleans off. the controller is fantastic. i still dont regret. i reccomended this to several people already (but yk how people are). the purple setting on the fire rings somehow lost some of its adjustability????? they only have 2 light modes now on all settings, dim and barely on now. super weird.

Good, Quality Controller
A competent and well made wired xbox controller. I love all of the potential customization with the optional led rings. It is ergonomic and comfortable as well... highly recommended

Way better than the original one
I got this controller mostly because I was frustrated at the fact all my original Xbox controllers only lasted me about a year. Even more upset when my last one started getting stick drift exactly one day after the warranty expired. Looked online for alternative options and decided to try 8bitdo.Had some issues with shipping but I have to say that this controller has exceeded my expectations. It feels really well made and the buttons and triggers are in my opinion more tactile and way smoother than the original. Love the fact that I have various options for the led light patterns. It is a little smaller than the original but not by much. I have large hands and was able to get used to the shape fairly quickly. This controller is wired compared to the wireless original but that is not an issue for me since I use it on my desk close to the console. It does come with a rather long cable if I were to be further away.Definitely going to be buying these controllers from now on! Cheap, responsive, and ergonomic make it a must buy for casual gamers. Plus RGB!

I was a single day from making a 5 star review 🙁
[Edit: In the time that this review was being uploaded, I managed to find a fix. I had to enter the stick calibration mode by holding LB+RB+View+Menu until the Xbox button blinks, but instead of calibrating the sticks, you have to press the triggers. Then, upon exiting the calibration (by holding the same buttons again), the triggers should work like normal again. This was an annoying experience, and I was a day from returning it. Now that I've had it for a few more days, I'd like to note some changes I've already noticed with the controller. On the first day of owning it, I noticed that one trigger felt slightly grainy when pressing, hinting that they didn't lubricate it enough. Then, after a few days, I noticed the right stick is slightly looser when moving from the center position. Call it break in, but I don't see it holding up well for competitive play, which, for me personally, this shape doesn't work well for. It's a great casual controller and is very aesthetically pleasing. The durability of the sticks and triggers is debatable, but I'm still keeping it for casual play or when I want to play 360 games on the Xbox.]Long story short, I loved this controller for the few days it worked for me, but unfortunately, there are some significant software bugs in this controller that I can't seem to reverse.I was looking at YouTube comments for this controller, and someone in the comments said you can hold the view+menu buttons to disable the trigger dead zones, so I tried it, and it worked, but now I can't undo it. I tried reseting by holding start/menu and the power button, but nothing, than I held the star button that controls the light, and that did seemingly reset the controller, but it still didn't fix the triggers. I also downloaded the software app, hoping there would be a way to reset the controller there, but to my surprise, the pc and xbox app have almost zero functionality beyond doing a firmware update. I tried the update for the heck of it, and ironically, it broke the feature it specifically said it would fix lol.I've been fed up with stick drift for years, this controller was really a breath of fresh air, and allowed me to play stalker 2 in its weird state, but apparently holding down two buttons can completely, irreversibly change the controller. I guess I'd recommend it, beyond those issues. It feels surprisingly premium in the hand, the vibration motors are very good, if not better than the original xbox controller, the lighting is very pleasing and offcourse the hall effect sensors are great. If I were to give some feedback on the controller:1. Don't support button combos that irreversibly change the controller2. Increase the distance that the triggers move before bottoming out3. Don't release updates that introduce the issue you said you fixed4. Include all button combos and methods to reset, in the manual
