I needed something to protect the cord connections of my outdoor lights and these covers are perfect. My light strings are white and are strung along a white background, so these white covers are hardly noticeable.These covers are great in a rainy climate, but I was especially thankful that I had them during an ice storm. I kept the lights on around the clock when it was freezing and didn't worry about the cords shorting out and/or doing other damage because of the wet, freezing weather.Many reviewers complain about attaching these to their cords or that they break easily, but if you take your time and not force it, it's really not that hard. Practice on one if you're not sure but the whole point of these covers is to keep moisture away from electrical connections so of course there will be a few moving parts that you need to pay attention to in order to get these situated properly.These covers come well packaged in a box that contains simple instructions and a few zip ties. All things considered, I'd definitely order these again and recommend them to others.
