"This Story of Ray Kroc 'ROCKS!'"
Great book for children to read about the life of the builder of McDonald's Restaurants, Ray Kroc! I didn't know that Kroc had served alongside Walt Disney during their time in the U.S. Army. I would recommend watching the movie "The Founder" with Michael Keaton after reading this book with your children. So the next time you parents take your children to eat at a McDonald's restaurant, they'll have a great respect and appreciation for the man behind those Golden Arches!

Easy to read, colorful, and engaging
Ray Kroc's biography is good for America. Selling products was what he was best at, and when he saw an automatic milkshake machine, he recognized its potential for restaurants. He began selling the machines, and he went to visit his best customer -- the McDonald brothers' restaurant in San Berdu.Ray Kroc envisioned more McDonald's restaurants and began to franchise the system. He used standardization to produce a consistent, convenient, and fun meal for every customer.Ray Kroc realized that the customer's happiness is important to the success of the business. The book takes a good look at the philanthropic initiatives of Kroc and the franchisees, particularly Ronald McDonald Houses.Ray Kroc has been good for America.
