These fly deterrent fans work perfectly. Just pop in a couple of AA batteries, push the button, and keep the flies off of your picnic food.

BOUGHT THESE FOR MY SON, WHO LOOKED AT ME LIKE I WAS CRAZY. BROUGHT THEM TO THE FOURTH OF JULY PICNIC WHEN THE FLIES WERE GETTING ON THE MEAT AT THE BUFFET. THEY DO NOT COME WITH BATTERIES BUT I CAME PREPARED. PUT THESE THINGS OUT AND THEY WORKED. EVERYONE AT THE EVENT SAID," WHERE DID YOU GET THESE?" I SAW THEM ON DOING IT ON A DIME...FULL CREDIT. GET THESE FOR SURE IF YOU ARE OUTDOORSY, AND EVEN IF YOU HAVE AN INDOOR PARTY AND PEOPLE ARE GOING IN AND OUT. I SUSPECT THEY WOULD KEEP OTHER INSECTS AWAY AS WELL OR AT LEAST DETER THEM. I WILL BE PURCHASING MORE. EVERYONE GETTING A SET FOR CHRISTMAS SO THEY CAN ALL LOOK AT ME WEIRD AND THANK ME LATER.

These seem to work pretty well. I like that they bend. Kept flies off my wine glass. Haven't tried with table food yet. I would definitely recommend this style especially compared to others that are not adjustable.

Possibly the BEST purchase I have made in years! We do a large seafood boil every summer and the flies are on the food in minutes with me constantly waving them away. I truly did not think these would work perfectly, but that “what could it hurt to try”. They were AMAZING and every guest continued to comment on them. NOT ONE bug was seen anywhere around the food tables! I rarely write reviews but these were worth the time. Buying another set to have in case they are ever hard to find. Thank you!!!!

They work great on the patio. I only wish they were rechargeable. They require 2 batteries each. Make no noise very easy to assemble, good quality.

Cool looking, love the ability to bend and shape, worked really well during 4th of July outdoor picnic!

These items are great, however when I received them only two would actually work. I had bought two boxes of 4 in each box so I had enough for my party but was disappointed that two would not work even with brand new batteries. I asked about getting a partial refund, but it was denied, I would have to send back to get a replacement and I opted to just let it go, the associate was very nice but didn't really solve my dilemma.
