Works very well outside grow tents
Works great on the outside of grow tents to help with bug management (IPM), or anywhere like a bedroom, kitchen, front room. The replacement pads aren't very expensive.

Super effective!!!
I have bought 4 of these & they have lasted 2 years now & are still going strong. This summer is particularly bad for flies & these have made a huge difference. Makes a great night light in our kitchen as well. So much better and cleaner than a fly swatter. Only thing is I have learned to open it outside in case there are any “resistant survivors” inside.

Don't buy this one buy a Katchy works much beter!
WASTE OF YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY. THIS COKIT MACHINE DID NOT EVEN LAST 1 YEAR. AMAZON DID NOT HELP WITH SENDING ANOTHER ONE BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF THE "TIME" TO RETURN...BUT WAIT....THEY ARE STILL SELLING THEM!! SO BEWARE...THESE ARE NOT GOOD MACHINES AND THE FAN STOPS WORKING...SO NO CATCHING THE MOSQUITOES! BUY A KATCHY THEY WORK WELL AND THAT IS WHAT I WILL BE BUYING FROM NOW ON. LESSON LEARNED!

Caught more mosquitoes than expected
Works well but you must make sure you switch out the sticky pads every few weeks. Currently living in Central America and it does help to run this at night in our kitchen and livingroom area, which has the AC turned off at night. It also helps as a nightlight

Better Than Nothing but........
I bought a similar item from Cokit last year. I used it nearly non stop for the past year and I loved it because IT WORKED. Here in the deep South, the fight against insects is a year round challenge. It finally gave up a few weeks ago but I had no issue with that. It had more than exceeded my expectations. Mosquito season is upon us so I was delighted to discover what I assumed was the same item on a two for one sale. It is NOT however the same item. It's louder. It's "not designed for 24 hour use", It's difficult to open to change the pad. The whole "mosq" and "bug" settings are pretty ridiculous. Does that mean it will get the fruit flies but not the mosquitoes unless I specify? Overall, it's kinda better than nothing but certainly not up to the standards I expected.

Does it's job
It functions exactly how they described has decent catchablity the traps are very sticky and has a nice clean look just remember if your dealing with mosquitoes you have to be out of the room for it to work.

these are awesome and cheap.
We started to have a fly issue in my neighborhood so a lot of neighbors reported an influx of flies. especially at night while im gaming i had to kill at least 6 flies a night which left my monitor disgusting, GROSS. I was skeptical of these and found this 2 pack and figure, what the hell right?. these are a godsend right now. have not had a fly issue since and if you do, turn off all the lights for bit and turn this thing on. i caught so many and still have room before putting in the next sticky patch. the one downside but not a deal breaker for me is that the pads are so sticky its hard to keep it in the bottom. its worth it for the price that's for sure.

Looks nice & is quiet but does not catch many bugs compared to the wind tunnel version, see pictures
I used to have the wind tunnel version Mosquito UV Light Fan Trap & it worked VERY well until it died after 3 years of much use. See my first picture. So I decided to give this Cokit version a try (2nd picture) since my Old wind tunnel one, a "Starry Misquito Killer by Inlask" brand was no longer available. I bought a two pack of the Cokit to use them the very same way I used my wind tunnel Starry Inlask model version, leaving it on only at night with all the lights in the room off, except the UV light trap unit. With my old wind tunnel Starry unit, I would see many bugs caught by the next morning. With this Cokit unit(s), I don't see the bugs being caught even 1/4 as much but I am feeling the bug (mosquito) bites more. I'm only giving it two stars because it looks nice and is very quiet and is catching the very tiny size mosquitos and gnats. I'm now believing it's very quiet because the fan is so weak to keep it quiet but not strong enough to suck in those bigger size mosquitos and bugs that get near. Either way, I will no longer order a top trap type model but will only look for the wind tunnel type models. I don't recommend this brand unless you just want nice looks.
