This phone is a nice little introduction to the world of smart phones. I purchased it for one of my grandsons and he found it easy to use and to set up.The screens are simply arranged and anyone with a molecule of common sense will find it easy to customise. Here is my only real piece of criticism about this phone package: mine did not come with any instructions.The screen allows you to set up a whole host of favourites including apps, contacts and other useful things.This is a very low price smart phone but comes full of essential functions which most users will find useful. You do not need to be an experienced computer/mobile device user to make use of this phone and so many technophobes will be more comfortable around this device.Mine came without any instructions and I don't know if this is by intention or not. In the box was the handset, a battery, a SIM card, a charger and charging lead and earphones.

If you're looking for a first smartphone and/or are on a very very very...very tight budget, then I recommend this phone.It can run a bit slow at times - tapping/swiping through screens & opening apps can be pretty sluggish at times - but if you're at least a mildly patient person, this shouldn't be too much of a problem. After all, there are always going to be some cons at this budget end of the spectrum.It runs all the usual social media apps - facebook, snapchat, instagram etc. Can web browse fine. It probably won't run most recent games, but any that are fairly simple & not graphically intensive will probably work a charm.I don't think the battery life is great - it's probably average for what is expected in the budget arena.I've used sat nav a lot on this phone, through both google maps & a third party sat nav app - I works great & without problem.I also listen to a lot of music & the sound quality, both through the built-in speaker & using earphones, doesn't seem as good as other higher-end devices I've had/have, it's a bit tinny. However that's not to say it's devastatingly bad...again, for the price, it's what should be expected - it's fine.The screen resolution is ok too. There's a little pixelation, but you can make things out fine, it balances well with the screen size. The veiwing angles aren't great, but as long as you keep it in your direct line of sight (which one usually does when looking at a smartphone) then it's all good.Overall, it's difficult not to recommend this phone for such a low price - if you keep your expectations realistic, then it's a good phone & amazing value.

If I could give less than one star I would. I bought this phone as sound on my LG has deteriorated and I have three months left on contract. Thought I could use this in the interim. Sound is ok. Other than that I constantly want to throw this phone out the window. Swipe it, nothing happens. I am never able to answer a call. Always have to call people back. Press buttons, takes FOREVER to react so the screen shuts down before you can get to anything. Don't bother with a password because you endlessly swipe and nothing happens. Two apps on and it won't let me add any more. NOW emails aren't even getting through. I've only had it just over a week and I loathe it with a passion. Total waste of money.

being an old codger it is taking a while to get used to ,daughter keeps showing me how to make it do what i want,when on my wifi battery only lasts three days,and uses more data than i did on old phone,all apps keep updating.took me a while to turn of what apps i was not using,but thats just an oldie using new tech.Ha Ha .Bloody bargain at the price when i see the price of other smart-phones.

Awful phone if you're used to responsive touch-screens. For the price I shouldn't complain much, but there are cheaper non-smart phones that are just as practical for much cheaper.Would often hang up during conversations due to the awful touch detection.Text random numbers, call emergency numbers when locked etc. Also poor storage capacity and very slow despite having a 32gb sd card. Would not recommend this phone except for people who will use it as a very cheap alternative tablet without a sim. As such it would be tolerable, but as a phone it is not.Replaced after 6 months.

I wanted a simple phone and this fits the bill perfectly. It was easy to set up but I did take it to a Vodafone shop to have the credit and my existing number transferred. It's easy to use but I do have two quibbles. Firstly, no instructions! It took me a while to work out a few things so some instructions would have been very useful. Secondly, the keyboard is very small. I have smaller than average hands and I find it difficult to send messages so I think anyone with large fingers would find it almost impossible. I am now using a stylus which helps. However, overall I am very pleased with it.

For the price you cannot complain, took a few hours to get used to it, but once you have it is very reliable. The downside is that it is locked to the Vodaphone network, but the network is pretty reliable although usage costs are high compared with some others. The camera works although it is poor quality, but OK for the odd snap. Battery life is good with several days on standby and all the features such as voice recording, photo library, calendar reminder etc all work OK. Having an Android operating system there are loads of apps that can be downloaded, overall for a cheap phone this is good value.

I bought 3 of these for my grandchildren there 1st new phones ages between 9 &12 and they do everything my Nokia does at a quarter of the price they got them up and running in no time and never came off them at the moment I am the best Nan ever and the best christmas present ever.
