Wonderful Lkdge griddle!
We love Lodge cast iron/enamel cook and bakeware. We own the dutch ven that we use to make artisan bread, and now this griddle that we use for meats and fish. Cooks exquisitely! Cleans up easily. It is heavy and well made. We love the size because it is easier to lift. If it were the size of a full size baking sheet it would be too heavy.

Non stick if you follow direction
Only used once, cooked my lamb chops perfectly. It is heavy not a negative it holds heat for a long time.

Paint chiipped on Lodge pan
The paint chipped off one end and i did not want paint in my food so I returned it to exchange for another one.

I love cast iron and this certainly doesn’t disappoint!!
I’ll admit I’m not much of a cook, but what little cooking I have done has for the most part been on cast-iron. With the amount of experience I do have with cast-iron, I know that Lodge is a great brand and never disappoints.I ordered this griddle specifically for our tailgating. First of all, I loved it because the beautiful enamel coloring matches are portable grill that we use at tailgates. This is great for putting Wright on top of the grill and burgers and brats in it. It’s awesome because it keeps our grill clean and it stays warm so I can use my silicone cooking gloves to move it from the grill to the serving table. The cast-iron skillet holds the heat so the meat stays hot.If you’ve never cast iron before there’s a bit of a learning curve for conditioned and oiled properly. Once you know how to do that, however, clean up is a breeze, and if you treat this well, it will last a lifetime.This griddle is incredibly heavy, built to last, looks beautiful and functions exactly as you would expect it to, if not better than you would expect it to. It’s expensive, but for the quality I consider this to be a value. I would never hesitate to order anything cast-iron made by Lodge. I encourage you to give this a try, you will not be disappointed!

Great grilling car iron skillet
Delivered as promised. Grilled 2 rib eye steaks which came out perfect. Great for toasting heart bread. Great with grilled veggies great so around grill pan. Cleans easy.

Hot and tasty
Once I had this grill pan in my kitchen, my first question was what to cook? A nice juicy hamburger seemed like a good idea.I had never used a grill pan in my electric oven, so that would be a first. And cooked ground beef can leave behind a greasy residue, so I would find out how well this grill cleans up.The cooking part went very well. I set the oven to broil and my burgers were finished in about 10 minutes - faster than I would get pan frying or using my beloved air fryer.The finished burgers were plump and tasty, though not as pink as I would prefer. But that's on me for leaving them on the pan longer than I should have. The Lodge fact sheet warned me that cast iron retains heat longer than most other cookware.When the pan cooled down, I set it in the sink and rinsed away the grease and loose bits. But there was a good deal of residue left behind so I let the pan soak in soapy water for a half hour before scrubbing the surface with kitchen sponge. The gunk didn't surrender as easily as it would with a non-stick frying pan, but it wasn't much of a fight. After a minute or two, I had clean pan that was ready for my next challenge.I'm thinking about using it on my outdoor gas grill, but I have some hesitation. The description on the Amazon sale page says the pan "can handle any kitchen cooktop, oven, grill, and open flame." But the fact sheet says "do not use on outdoor grills," so I guess it's going to stay inside
