I bought this lamp for a purely utilitarian reason - Vive Ultimate Trackers needed bright, even lighting around my room, and my nighttable lamp, wall spotlight, and ceiling fan didn't cut it. I'm usually wary of paying 3 figures for LED lamps as dubious quality LEDs can be used, we all know the corners cut in these devices. But this one worked beautifully.Installation was fairly quick and easy - screw in some metal plates between three metal tube structures, then slide the soft LED strip right in. Setup was fairly easy - I purchased Govee products before, so it automatically recognized the lamp without much hassle (I had to find the 2.4 Ghz password). The lamp has very even lighting up the strip, which goes to my chin. Casting against a wall corner brings soft, even light to the room.I was impressed by was the versatility. I expected a silly RGB panning thing, and there are features for that, but what I got was the ability to change brightness and color temperature! I made two nightlight presets, both 2700k, one at 5% for when I need to use the restroom, another at 1% when I'm just in bed and need a little light to see something close by. I've been frustrated with my lighting options for nightlights as I have particular sensitivies, but being able to dim the lamp that much and get nice lighting, and save those presets as a button in the app was an unexpected surprise!It's really hard to think of anything I don't like, here. Some of the motion can be a bit jittery. If you have an uneven floor, I don't think the lamp has any adjustments for the bottom feet. And it would be nice for 5ghz Wifi to be an option. Or, at this price, maybe even something remote. Otherwise the light is beautiful, the app works well, and I have no major complaints! It exceeded my expectations, which is very difficult to do. I will definitely be looking at more Govee products in the future.

These lights are very nice and cool looking. They have a slender profile, but illuminate a lot of light at 100%. If that’s too bright for you , you can use Alexa and ask her to change it to 50% or any level. Never mind , that you can change it to any color. My husband loves these lamps. You will not be disappointed.

Easy to assemble and very sturdy design. I have over 50 Govee lights installed. Their integration with Amazon Alexa works flawlessly. The only other lights I use are GE SYNCs because Govee doesn't seem to make PAR38s.

This is an excellent light to brighten just about any space you'd like. It is a bit strange looking at first set up, but you quickly assimilate it into the must have it becomes due to the various lighting moods you can create. Solid materials comprise the components of this lightshow in a stick, with some weight to it to help ensure that the stance will be steady. The base brightens and gyrates light just like the stick part which makes the experience a total top to bottom light experience, up close. Then, expand those beads of light by simply moving the unit a bit forward to the wall/corner or back from such to create a palette with myriads of colors and color schemes. Connects to 2.4ghz Wi-Fi only [NOTE THAT!] or Blue Tooth. ALSO NOTE: You will have to put this together out of the box. I knew that going in as I read another person's review but honestly, it was not difficult at all. They even provided the screwdriver needed. Becareful once you're all done and it's built......if you go to lift it to move it to where you want it just know it is taller than you think when you lift it......watch out for those ceiling fan blades right above ya. Came with a remote but I also downloaded the Govee APP and that is what I use PLUS the APP has all the different scenes you can choose, etc. Very glad I did not spend the $270+ for the like item from HUE as I believe this is exactly the same thing and of equal quality!

I will buy a second one if they go on sale or adjust the price. The brown/yellow tones did not photograph well, but they do match the tv screen.✅ Pros:✅ Quality Construction: The lamp feels sturdy and well-made.✅ Easy Assembly: Putting it together was a breeze.✅ Clear Instructions: The included instructions were easy to understand and follow.✅ Excellent Color and Brightness: The lighting options are vibrant and offer a good range of brightness.✅ Long Power Cord: The cord is long enough for flexible placement.❌ Cons:❌ Misleading Product Name: The "2" in the name made me think it was a two-pack. This should be clarified in the description. (Note: I was looking for a two-pack and mistakenly thought this was one. This is a single lamp.)❌ Price: The price is a bit high, especially compared to the slightly shorter, previous version.❌ TV Syncing Issues: Doesn't synchronize well with a wall-mounted TV on its own. A stand is needed to improve the synchronized lighting effect on the wall.

These lamps are great. I just use them on the warm light by our couch in the family room. We do not like any bright lights in there, so these were the perfect alternate. They worked so great I came back and purchased a second one so there is one on both sides. It makes the room feel warm and inviting. They were very easy to put together and the remote is very ease to figure out. We are not into the different colors, but we have seen them work so if you are into that, they do work well, which makes them versatile. Great buy!

I’ve been wanting a smart floor lamp for a while and this one definitely delivers. The setup was pretty easy, and I love that it works with Matter so it connects smoothly with my smart home system. The colors are super vibrant, and the different lighting modes make it really fun to play around with whether I want a cozy vibe or more of a party look. It’s not the brightest lamp in the world, but for ambiance and style it’s perfect. Definitely makes my space feel more modern.
