I bought this to make shipping packages faster and easier and was very surprised at how well this works! No complaints at all. It's fast and quiet and a great price. Also works specifically with clear tape, which I was concerned it might not be able to detect it somehow. It works great though with clear tape.Works great with 1.88 in wide Clear Scotch Heavy Duty Shipping Packing TapeFor reference, it goes up to a maximum length of 999 mm which is 3 ft 3 inches.1 ft is approximately 305 mm which I think works well.Highly recommended! The media could not be loaded. As you can see in the video I have purchased several (5) ribbon/tape cutters, I returned 2 for breaking on the first day. Third one needs to be returned but it is too late the fourth one which is in the video cuts decently but misses every few pieces. The 5th one and star of the show is the Blade Master!! It is homecoming prep time here in Texas and I cut ALOT of ribbon in all different sizes and lengths and the blade master continues to outshine the other brands!! I haven’t had any issues out of it at all! I never write reviews and was kinda of scared to write this one, (don’t want to jinks myself) but wanted to share how amazing it has worked. It is very easy to program even using metric calculations, and the loop setting is just what I needed. I put my ribbon in, choose my desired length then use the loop setting to cut the amount needed and walk away until it is done. The only hitch I have is that when it completes the requested amount I have to hustle over to stop it from automatically starting again (the other machines stop until prompted to cut again) but for it’s ease of use and accuracy that is something I can easily deal with. Thank you Blade Master for making this machine.

I bought this just for my newest hobby, ribbon leis. It is such a time saver. It saves me money too because of the precise cutting. I'm not wasting ribbon anymore and getting perfect cuts. Works well with my satin ribbon as well as glitter ribbon and organza. Recommend it to everyone!
