Balling on a budget
I can't say enough good things about VIMTAG camera. I have purchase two types of cameras from them 4 in total. If you are looking for security camera on a budget, do consider these. Setup is very easy! You will need wifi to operate them. You can use cloud storage or SD card for continuous recording and can even save clips to your phone. I use them indoor and outdoor. I like the 3.4k picture better than the 2. Something. You also control everything from you phone. Very convenient!I reached out to customer service having problems with one of my cameras saying SD card failure I went through everything I had done to fix it and they came to the conclusion it was defective and sent me a new one.I will definitely be purchasing again and I tell everyone about them!(I did turn my camera to show my yard more so I wasn't taking pictures of my neighbors house)

Great Value and Quality for a POE PTZ
It has been about two weeks, and I still like this Poe PTZ camera. In fact, I have bought several more. The nice thing is you can set them up in conjunction with other cameras and have them turn to look in a given direction if there is movement in a different spot from where this camera is generally parked (you need a good DVR device to do that—I am using Hiseeu PoE NVR). This camera has turned out to be better than I anticipated. The LED light is also very useful. I have one mounted at the front and back of my house, zoomed in to an area, and if someone walks through that area, it fires the LED spot, which is an added layer of deterrent to potential intruders. When it connects to NVR, it needs to connect to APP first, then turn on the ONVIF function in APP settings and set an administrator password, so that it can connect to any NVR. I give this a five-star rating because I have been using it for 2 weeks with no issues, and the quality is great for the price.

Not my favorite of my cameras, but does the job...
I have 4 different cameras from 4 different manufacturers. All of them work reasonably well, They all have thier own quirks. This camera was probably the easiest to set up. I didn't do anything special, just downloaded the app and signed up, then went through the steps. Actually, all of them were pretty easy, just for this one everything clicked and I didn't have to redo any steps, everything paired and connected the first time.Using the app, the Home Screen doesn't seem to be quite as busy as some of the other ones. It does seem to be quite a bit quicker to connect and give a picture than the other ones. I don't think that the picture quality is as good as the other cameras but, that could be just the environment and lighting. It's still pretty good. It seems to have better quality during the light than in the dark. But that may be pretty standard. One of my other cameras has excellent picture quality in almost pitch black. I'm just using this for basic viewing in a home that's basically empty right now, so for my needs this camera works just fine. In the App Store, when I downloaded the app, the app rating was pretty low at 2.1. Many of the complaints focused on the app being glitchy, and the recording with an sd card not working well or at all for various reasons. I have not tried this out myself so far but, if that might be an issue for you, definitely do your own research on possible problems before purchasing. There are a couple of things I really like about this camera; one is the fact that you can use it in the up or down position. For instance, it comes with a bracket to hang up high, like in a porch ceiling, but you can also sit it on it's base and use it like a baby cam, which is what I'm doing now while monitoring my other property. I just didn't want to poke holes in the sheetrock to hang it. For this, there is a setting that you can change in the menu to flip the screen that works very well. Another thing that I really like is in the app and it's in the view screen. In addition to the flip feature, the view screen lacks a directional pad or arrows so you actually pan and tilt the camera by sliding your thumb or finger on the screen and the camera will turn in the direction you choose. This allows you to use either hand to move the camera and doesn't restrict you to using a small part of the screen in order to do so. Most of my other cameras have an arrow pad usually on the left hand side of the screen. Im right handed and have a little better dexterity on that side so I really like that I can use either hand. The pan and tilt mode are a little jerky and delayed, but they work and get the job done. One other thing that I liked that I failed to mention earlier is that It has a microphone so you can talk to whoever is in the room you are monitoring. I have tested this out and it works very well. I know it's a common feature on many camera's, but this one worked very well and allows me to communicate two ways with very good clarity.Overall all, although it's not my favorite camera, I do believe that it works well, it's easy to set up and get started, and it gets the job done. If you want to record, you definitely want to do your research about any glitches and bugs related to the sd cards and draw conclusions from there. Otherwise, it think this is a nice camera with good basic features. It works well for me, and I recommend it.

Be wary if you use third party software.
Nice camera , BUT......... I use BlueIris software to monitor quite a few cameras around the house. While I can connect this camera to BlueIris, it is RTSP interface ONLY and this interface changes over time, therefore I need to "reconnect" the camera every 12 hours or so. The camera works fine with the Vimtag app so, if this is all you need, fine. But I would warn anyone who uses third party software. You CANNOT use a static http IP address with this camera. I will be keeping the cameras (I bought 2) for monitoring special events but will only be able to use the app.

Excellent customer service!
The camera was not going to meet my current needs and after several days I decided to return it. In the meantime Vimtag customer service reached out to me to see how liked the camera and to see if I had any questions. I told them that aftera thorough tryout I decided to return the camera. Right away customer service was on it and said they would get this done for me right away. To be fair I explained all the steps I had taken and tried and decided it just wasn't going to work in my situation. Immediately they explained they were issuing a full refundand never questioned any further. The camera has some great qualities and produces a perfect image and I told them I am definitely going to consider Vimtag products as my current needs change. The 5 stars is for customer service!

Good quality, does what its supposed to do
This camera has many features, one of them is following motion when detected. Link this camera with its cloud service and you won't miss a thing. However, I am a bit unsatisfied that It doesn't revolve around the area on its own in idle mode, but that doesn't make a really big difference. I like the camera, their customer support is F A S T, they will get onto your response at speeds you would never know existed (litrlly)
