These oil pastels are great. They are very buttery and blend well and the set has a nice range of vibrant colors. Some had a lot of oil on them but I read on the website that this is normal. I just wiped off the oil with a napkin. I bought a set from another brand previously that were dry and hard to blend, so I prefer these even with the oiliness any day. I will enjoy using them.

The colors are really nice and I am really happy that there was a card included in there to test the colors on paper. Like other the comments have mentioned some of the colors are more smooth and soft than other colors. Overall I’m really happy with this set, wish I got the set with the most colors I didn’t realize i needed more colors until I started using it. But it’s great value and quality. I will be buying from them again when I run out

I just received my oil pastel's, and unfortunately due to what I'm assuming was a manufacturer mistake, I have two of the ash blue colors and did not get a phtalo blue, and the tip broke off of the barite green before I could even get it out of the little box they come in...not too mention they seem to be covered in a substance? I'm not sure if they just got too hot or what.

Super soft!!!! Great for impasto and doing final layers over other firmer oil pastels. This is a great set with some very nice color selections. You’ll need to buy some extra white oil pastels though. Otherwise, these are fantastic oil pastels.

Definitely higher quality pastel, especially for the price.

The quality of the Paul Rueben's Oil Pastels are incredible! They blend magnificently and are a pleasure to use. The colors are brilliant and they maintain their luster. They are by far the best set of oil pastels that Ihave purchased in the last forty years.

I’m so pleased with his Paul Reuben pastels. The color, the softness, the variety of colors in the box are of excellent quality. I enjoy doing art with these. I will continue to buy these pastels in the future.

The media could not be loaded. I wish I could up the stars. I really do. There’s just too many things wrong to give it more than three. Some of it is easy fixes like AutoCorrect other things are not so happy. I have a missing color with a replacement of the exact same color and I will show that in the video. However, the reason for the three stars is because they are beautiful colors as you can see in the video that I took. They’re absolutely gorgeous. They lay down beautifully smooth they even blend nicely. I had to use a Q-tip to blend all mine cause I didn’t want that oily residue every time I touch the page so mine are not even as vibrant as they would be. Had I not smooth it down with Q-tip so yes, I would recommend them as far as that goes, but I would say be careful after you open the box if you’re looking for anything that had quality control or attention to detail.
