Samsung Galaxy A55 128GB 5G SIM Free Smartphone - Awesome Iceblue

I haven't had a new phone in 5yrs so finally took the plunge with the A55. It is thicker and longer than my previous one but perfect for those people that don't need/want a phone with all the bells and whistles, just an everyday mid range phone. Good value for money too. I love Samsung phones and have never been disappointed.

Does everything I need/want. No lag or issues when using apps. Large clear screen, well made phone with decent speakers. Didn't think the price difference between this phone and the "S" range was justifiable.

The Samsung Galaxy a55 is a great upgrade Phone for me from my older a22.The transfer of data from old Phone to new couldn't have been easier everything went over fine using the Smart switch app.Had the phone a week now and amount of difference is unbelievable so much more on this device and still learning.Tip...Slight issue after fitting a new screen protector at first didn't recognise fingerprint scanner but it was down to the increase sensitivity button was off in Display settings turn it on and now absolutely fine.Can recommend.

This phone was always going to be a grey import for this price, but the description suggested it would be one manufactured for the European market. However, the handset I received was made for the United Arab Emirates - this means no warranty in the UK and some apps won't run due to regional restrictions. I sent it back to the seller at my own cost, tracked delivery £9.35, and had my money refunded. The outcome is I'm out of pocket and have no phone. To be fair, the return process wasn't too bad, but to have this product advertised as 'Amazon's choice' is quite misleading and disappointing.
