16" SBR Crash Cymbal

For the price, this is a great cymbal! Clear bright sound.

I bought this cymbal as "a beater" so i didn't have to use my Zildjian A Customs when my band hosts an open mic night in town. Other drummers jump up on the kit, so i didn't like the prospect of wear and tear, and potential cracks from hamfisted knuckleheads on my expensive ZAC. i had ZERO expectations about the sound. BOY WAS I SURPRISED!!! This thing sounds crisp and brilliant, and really shines through the sound of a full band. Strikes and chokes sound great. You can even shimmer out on it too, which is usually tough to get good sound out of cheaper cymbals. Sure its brass, so i expected the trash canny clang. NOPE. it sounds like a MUCH MORE expensive cymbal. The price is RIDICULOUS for the quality of sound. (For reference, i'm comparing it against a cymbal that costs $239 on Amazon) I am SO happy with this purchase! if you are a drummer on a budget make this your first purchase. Or if you have "a good set of cymbals" that you worry about in certain circumstances. Don't hesitate on this one!

When I got this, I was amazed at how shiny it is!!! I have a starter kit and the crash I have that came with it is really crappy, because I've beat the crap out of it. But I love the new one. It sounds good with my bass drum and when I do a groove and then a Phil it is amazing!!! I would most definitely recommend this crash!

Great starter crash cymbal. If you have a drum set and need a crash cymbal and do not want to shell out a fortune - this is a great one to get. Unless you are playing professionally, there's no reason to pay hundred's of dollars on a crash. The sound is bright, sustain is minimal, and cost is perfect. Add a Pacific Drums boom stand and you are out the door for less than a $100 and have added an nice addition to your kit. I bought the two together and am very happy with them both. I play drums as a hobby now, but played in a paying band for many years as a bassist. So I know what sounds decent. And this does.

Has a bright crisp splashy tone that compliments my timbales nicely and cost much less than a same sized Zildjian. Works well as a ride or crash

It takes a beating well. My grandson says it is great.

The cymbal didn't have a sustain and wasn't very loud. I returned it. I have had good luck with Sabian cymbals but not this one

Very Flimsy product with a very cheap tinny sound way overpriced Very light in weight more of a Frisbee than a cymbal... Should be selling them in Smyths Toystores next to the kiddies drum sets... Sent mine straight back for a refund ...
