A great size carry on! Lots of room and looks expensive, but isn't!

My husband recently took this on a trip and fit a good amount of clothes/shoes with himLove the look!

Overall, this is a good bag, however, the outside buckles don’t actually buckle. They are a snap and you cannot overfill them or make them tight or the snaps pop right out.

The right size.

Material is very thin though lined with an equally thin white lining. Definitely not canvas or canvas-like. Ripped at the handles which made carrying it through the airports precarious. It is very lightweight but I can’t recommend it for travel but perhaps it could work for something else.

First of all, the bag was bigger than I expected, probably because I've seen too many 'inflated' photos of items online. It's not too big, mind you, but just right for a carry-on, workout, or overnight travel bag.The canvas material has a nice durable feel and should hold up well. The leather flaps, handles, and zipper pulls are a nice touch. The main (bag & shoe) compartments have double zippers, a good useful design choice.I particularly like the shoe compartment on the bottom, to keep shoes separated from clothes, towel, etc. It should easily hold 2 pairs of shoes, along with several pairs of socks and other items.This thing has a good selection of pockets, on both the inside and outside. Inside, there is indeed a 'wet' pocket along the length of one side of the interior, with 3 open pockets on the opposite side. All interior compartments have a nice lining, further adding to the quality and style.On the exterior, in addition to the shoe pocket on the bottom, there are 5 pockets: an open pocket at each end of the bag; a zip pocket (on the 'trolley' sleeve) suitable for boarding passes, passport, etc; and the two closed pockets with the leather flaps and faux buckles. Those last 2 pockets are held closed by magnetic clasps... and that was the one disappointment with the bag, as I think those should actually have snaps.Zippers are sturdy and operate smoothly, with nice leather pull tabs all around. An adjustable shoulder strap is included, and is of proper width & thickness with a padded sleeve, and features spring loaded hooks which swivel.The main handles are reinforced, and can be joined via the leather grip with double snaps. Likewise, the handles at each end are leather and also built for the task. Stitching is of suitable quality throughout.This seems to be a well made and functional all-purpose bag, and a good choice at this price point.

Ok, I'll admit, I'm a sucker for things that are a little more unique. I see a lot of nylon or leather overnight bags. They all look fairly similar.THIS bag, however, is NONE of those. This is bona fide canvas, and I'm HERE for it!The bag has enough volume for overnight clothes, shoes, toiletries, with room to spare. There are pockets on the outside for things like headphones, deodorant, and whatever small odds & ends you'd want easy access to.The bag has a waterproof wax on it which will help for a time, but it's not distracting to the look. I wouldn't rely on full waterproofing, but that's more than fine for me.In all, I REALLY like this bag and plan to use it for as long as it will last (which I expect will be for several years).
