The lights are fantastic, but the price is a little high. I managed to get three sets of these lights from AliExpress for the price of one on Amazon. The only downside is you have to wait 2 to 3 weeks. all in all the lights are very good.

Bin mit meiner Anwendung dieser tollen Strips wohl eher ein Exot, da vermutlich keiner hier die Klaviatur seiner Keyboards mit solchen Streifen beleuchtet (ich habe das zumindest noch nirgendwo gesehen oder darüber gelesen). Mit der passenden Ansteuerung über DMX (oder auch autark über meine Controller) laufen bei mir zwei YAMAHA- Keyboards auf der Bühne farblich absolut passend und synchronisiert zur Lightshow! Alles perfekt, kann die Stripes dementsprechend mit gutem Gewissen empfehlen.

I liked this LED strip although I wish they were brighter. I have an old fluorescent light and I planned on removing the guts from it and putting these LEDs in it instead. The plan was to replace the light in the ceiling and then be able to change the colors of the light with my phone. These wouldn't be bright enough to replace a light in the ceiling though. I can still put them in the old florescent light enclosure but it would only serve as a mood light or accent light. Furthermore, I wish I would have bought an LED strip where the LED's were further apart. These LED's are less than half an inch apart and if I wanted to cover a large area then I would have to chop these up and solder 3 wires between each LED. This isn't a fault of the LED strip. It is my fault for not taking the spacing into consideration. My point is that before you order a programmable LED strip, be aware of what king of spacing you want. With all of that said, these things are a lot of fun to play around with. The ability to individually control the color of any LED is awesome. I would recommend these LEDs as long as you are sure you would like the spacing and they would be bright enough for you. I have a covered porch and I would love to buy another strip that is longer and has greater spacing. It would be cool to put them all around the porch and have them change colors or put on shows for different holidays.

These strips look great! You can even make a decent Soft White with a little trial and error if that's your goal. The strips are 72 LED strips that are soldered together leaving a slight space in the middle. If you put a light diffuser over them, you can't tell. Still lacking, in my opinion, is a decent controller/app. All the ones I've tried so far either have malfunctioning animations or just aren't ideal for convenient control. The best I've used so far that is also compatible with the WS2812B strips is the SP108E. I don't find having to use my phone to connect to the controller ideal - especially since you usually have to power cycle the controller to get the bluetooth option to show up after a day or two, but the animations are pretty solid and the built-in mic works well. All of that being said, I've tested 5 meters of these strips so far and each one has been flawless!! The black PCB is so nice, my wife actually thinks they look better without the diffuser. Perhaps I'll try to upload a picture/video when I finish my bar project.

The leds work great , and are fairly bright given the correct power. however the description says to use a 5v power supply . if you look on the datasheet for the smd5050 leds it has a max input of 3.6 volts. you wont get the 5v power supplies to work without resistors

Mit dem LED Band bin ich sehr zufrieden. Es verbraucht weniger Strom, als angegeben (bei voller Auslastung). Es wird ziemlich warm, jedoch nicht wirklich heiß. Ich steuere es einwandfrei mit einem Arduino Nano an. Negativ sind die sehr kleinen Lötstellen, die gerne mal abbrechen. Es ist schwierig ein Kabel an das Band zu löten.
