Ocean Wave Projector Light, Water Ripple Mood Lighting Ambient Room Decor

Love this! It’s chargeable and lasts almost my whole work shift. Works while charging too. There is a setting to fade/transitions the colors slowly, which is nice. The top plastic part doesn’t come off. Quiet, and lightweight. Not sure why the option for different colors when you buy it, but haven’t noticed anything odd in the colors. Pretty bright for being so small.

I have only used it about eight times so far, but I'm happy with it, especially for the price. It works pretty well, and although the little remote looks complicated, it's really not. One thing to be aware of is how VERY BRIGHT the base light is, even with the brightness turned all the way down (the remote has buttons for this). The reflections it casts on the walls and the ceiling are very cool, but I had to block the base light from my line of sight with a strategically placed object because otherwise it would keep me awake for sure. Seriously, it's like a car headlight, which for me is wayyy too bright to have in the bedroom while I'm trying to sleep. But it's an easy situation to remedy with a little creativity, and otherwise this is a solid product. I'm satisfied with it.

I’m giving it 5 stars because for the price it definitely came out better than I thought. I bought the ocean wave projector, I’m not sure if the northern lights one has those dot lights but I didn’t get that one because I feel they’ll look more like lasers than stars. I love the colors of my ocean wave projector though, so many colors and its bigger and vibrant in the dark, more than I thought it was going to be. It’s not super bright in the colors like red but I like northern lights type effect even though it’s the ocean one. I couldn’t upload the video so here’s the best screenshots of how the projection looks. These look so pretty on my garage ceiling :)

However, BE AWARE that it DOES NOT have a built in bluetooth speaker like most other ones do. My other findings of this Ocean Wave Projector: ⭐ First Impression: I bought this light hoping to add a little ambiance to our daughter's room. She is 4 and diagnosed with autism level 3. — It completely exceeded expectations. It turned our room into a calming sensory retreat with just one cube. ✅ What I Loved: • The 3D ripple effect casts beautiful shadows across the ceiling and walls, especially when paired with our climbing wall and cozy setup. • The 16-color options let us switch between soothing blues for bedtime and vibrant purples for playtime. • The remote and app controls are intuitive — even my 10-year-old can adjust the colors and effects without help. • It’s lightweight but surprisingly bright, and the cube design fits perfectly on a bed, shelf, or nightstand. ⚠️ What Could Be Better: The power cord is a bit short, so plan to use an extension if your outlet isn’t nearby. Also, the cube can tip if bumped, so we placed it on a soft surface where it’s less likely to fall. There is no option to use batteries, so know that it has to be plugged up to be of use. 🎯 Final Thoughts: This is a fantastic choice for families, sensory-friendly rooms, or anyone who wants to add a touch of magic to their space. It’s become part of our nightly routine, and I’d absolutely buy it again. If you need a very affordable, functional calming sensory light, this one is great!

I’ve had this light for a very, very good while now and this is what I have to report! Quality: Physically, I’ve dropped this a bunch of times and it was still in one piece! The lighting fills up your room about 80-90% which is exactly what I love! It comes with a remote or you can change the settings on the product itself and it’s very easy to use! Cons: So the only con (if you even consider it bad) is that the lights stay in place and have stopped moving to create that ‘water effect’ that I originally wanted. But, the lights still work so well that it still soothes me enough that I haven’t bought another one because it’s still good without that feature regardless!

Zero noise from this machine. Just a brilliant swirling light. Makes a wonderful color splash on my entire ceiling, I was mesmerized the first couple of times I turned this on. The controller has 24 buttons total with 15 different main color settings laid out vertically in collums. Each collum has 5 settings of color shades being red/orange/yellow blends, green/aqua/blue blends, and blue/purple/pink blends. There's a button for white light which produces a rainbow effect just using the light distortion from the wavy cube itself. There are also 4 buttons for present color effects: Flash: Half second long bursts of Red, Green, Blue, Yellow, Pink, Cyan, White. Strobe: Half second long bursts of Blue, Red, and Green. Fade: A slow morph through all the colors and shades the machine can make. Smooth: Slow morphs just through mostly blue and green tones with some pink and white. And the other 4 buttons I haven't mentioned are brightness (+/-) and on/off. I just wish you could control the speed of the rotating light inside the cube. The default speed is fine but the effect is produces is a little faster than I'd like when really trying to relax. That would absolutely elevate this product to perfection.

My daughter loves this night light. Many colors to choose. Edit: March 4, 2026: It was 5 stars, now 3 and here is why; the electric motor stopped working in just 45 days. My daughter was devastated. So after a 14 hour work day I went to the workbench and proceeded to disassemble the light. I removed the little electric motor and added some lithium grease to its tiny little bushings. Reassemble the light, and..... it works again.... for now. It really is a beautiful night light, but it is very cheap. Just know that you will need to fix your light eventually.

This is a very cool light. Got it as a nightlight for my kid and it's great. A lot of colors to choose from and brightness goes pretty high. The base does feel a little cheap because it has no weight to it, but it works great and looks cool. The remote it comes with is nice to have too so you don't have to get up to turn it on and off or you can do it from a distance.

I received this as a Christmas gift. Turned it on in my bathroom and OMG! It’s just like the picture. You can charge it and take it with you, you don’t need a plug in. I also noticed that the little clear plastic battery protector can slide in and out, which means the battery is protected when I’m not using the light. I loved it so much I ordered a second one for my sister! One thing though, this light is plastic and very lightweight but makes a beautiful northern lights on your bathroom walls and ceiling!

Looks just as shown in pictures. Adds a nice ambience to the room at night.
