Useful filler- limited for larger damage
Firstly- the instructions on the Amazon page are far better than the ones which don't come with the pack - follow those as far as you can.. There were a wide range of shades provided in the wax sticks, unfortunately the "cherry-wood" colour which I really needed wasn't included so had to use a slightly lighter colour and attempt to shade in other darker shades as the page suggests. I suspect if the damage I was trying to fill had been smaller, eg a strip or dent rather than a 50p laminate crack it would have been more successful. The sheer size of the fill basically made blending, stippling and adding striations far too difficult and the fill was immediately apparent- so back to the drawing board on large holes. However some surface damage, dents or scratches, with the right colour palate should work well and therefore have marked these as where they have worked rather than over-reached themselves.I did note the wat set very quickly so be fast as positive in what you are doing, there is a risk overtime that the material will contract from the walls and therefore you may find yourself re-doing the process multiple times to replace the lost material- in the right use and place there sticks can do a good jo, but it's best in a less noticed place and on small areas for best results- and try to do some practice runs first- it can be difficult fist time with al the things you have to remember!

Perfect for covering screw or nail holes in natural wood
I wanted something that would cover nail holes in a bathroom cabinet that’s finished in stained wood and found these wax crayons work perfectly. As seen in the picture the wax is malleable to use without melting and extremely easy to apply using the plastic tool supplied. I have also used a wood chisel for finer holes that worked better in my opinion. The set contains so many different colours you can’t fail to get a good enough match.Really happy with the results and highly recommend

A lack of written instructions
The wax sticks are packaged in a cardboard box which is labelled with the manufacturers details and RoHS compliance logo. The kit contains 10 wax sticks approximately 12mm dia x 107 long (1/2" x 4-1/4" long) in a selection of colours, each labelled in Chinese with no translation. They are Black, Navy, mid Grey, White and a range of browns from sand (Pine?) to dark chestnut (Mahogany?). Also included is a hard plastic scraper 100mmx72mm (4"x 2-7/8") which has one edge plain and the other faced with soft cloth.I have tried this product on our laminate flooring, and it works well, but an accurate colour match is difficult, which is quite normal. There are no instructions included with the product, but guidance is readily available online. The wax works well, especially when melted a little, and the scraper levels the surface down as designed. I feel that an instruction leaflet would be a very sensible addition to the kit.In conclusion, a good product, let down by the lack of written instructions and slightly overpriced at £13.99 (When I received the product).

Slightly let down by moulded plastic scraper
This set comprises 10 sticks ranging from white, through pale greys and beiges, to darker browns and black. A double-edged plastic scraper is also included, which scraper has one plain edge (to remove surplus wax in a dent under repair) and one edge coated with a layer of felt-like synthetic material (for surface polishing of a dent once filled). The plain edge has a rounded profile and is generally pretty useless for scraping across a flat surface: a razor blade or even the edge of a credit card gives a much better result. In contrast, the coated edge of the scraper is very good at providing a smooth, polished finish. If you haven’t used such filler sticks before, it can take a little practise to get the colour matching right, building up layers from different coloured sticks, and any repair will still be visible on close inspection, but these are a quick and relatively easy way to disguise surface scratches.
