put it in water and off it goes great little thing.

Got the product straight away so no problem with delivery. It was a bright sunny day but the fountain only spouts water for 1 second then stops for two or three then spouts again. When I lift it out of the water the pump runs fine but it is just not strong enough to push the water through and out of the top. I love the idea of this product but I think mine is broken.

I used this today on the hottest day of the year so far .no clouds and very strong sunlight and put it in very big pot .filled the pot up with water and placed the solar fountain .not much happens until u tilt the fountain towards the sun then it springs to life but as soon as u let go and it floats on a level it stops working.not very happy about this product.total waste of money.

Quite surpires at how well this works, in direct sunlight. When a cloud blocks out the sun there is only a spitting motion, but in full view of the sun it work well.
