Beautiful new hood for Sharknado, she needed it!

Had to straighten corners to fit. Had to notch rib on passenger side to clear Sprintex Supercharger. Pain in butt to warp in carbon fiber, has alot of curves.

This hood is Made in CHINA and is not a direct fit. Make sure you test fit before painting! The hood hinge adjustment holes on the hood should be elongated instead of round. My hood was about 1\4" too far back to align in the front when I had it all the way forward. One side was touching on the back corner with no paint on the hood yet. Used a carbide bit on die grinder to elongate the holes to correct that issue. The other larger issue was the front of the hood is too flat (not enough arch). The hood would rub the paint off over time in the middle and outside JL style latches would not work a because the hood was too wide (from lack of arch). I had to but a 4x4 on the core support and close the hood on it and have a friend press down on both corners of the hood with me. This gave it a little more arch but still isn't perfect. I will have to drill the core support and install bumpers that hold the center of the hood at the correct height and than have to push each front corner down when latching hood... I spent the extra money thinking it would look better than stock and fit better than the other aftermarket options... It does look better than stock but not worth the aggregating fitment issues...

It was pack very well plenty of bubble wrap. no dents no scratches very happy with delivery. Will have up date on fit and paint. Paint make it look Evan better. Instillation was very easy no issues aligning so easy my daughter could of done it if she could of lifted the hood her self . Everything snapped in place from the old hood or screwed right in place.

The hood is made of quality materials. Easy to install. Fitment was pretty good, not perfect. I didn't get around to installing it until 6 weeks later so when I did finally install the passenger side front corner of the hood was bent. There was no damage to the box and I stored the box flat until I installed. I am taking my jeep to get painted, hopefully the body guy can fix it. Overall I am happy with the purchase I just wish I had opened and inspected it immediately. You need to get a second windshield fluid sprayer or else you'll have a hole where a 2nd one should go.
