This product is perfect for someone who wants a 17" raised bed without hauling lumber, fussing with heavy corners, or worrying about whether the walls will rot, leach chemicals or fall over. Sturdy, well made panels, rounded ends, and cross pieces ensure stability. Coatings used are touted as food safe. Only downside is that each panel is shrink wrapped in plastic on both sides. Not only does it take significant time to remove the coatings as directed, but it's creates unnecessary plastic waste.

After figuring the cost and maintenance for a DIY wooden garden bed, I landed on this metal option from vego. The color choices are beautiful and effortlessly blend into the cottage aesthetic of my garden.Assembly Tips:- Take the plastic off the outside of each panel before assembling- The rounded edges are always on the outside of the piece you are connecting to.- Two acorn nut bolts are on the top- Only complaint is that the paint scratches easily so be mindful of that while attaching bolts- If assembling in the garden / grass, put all nuts/ bolts in a plastic container so you don’t loose them- 6 yards of top soil / compost mix filled the 4 beds

They look nice once put together. But it literally takes longer to tear off all the plastic than it does to put it together. For a company that talked about usda certified paint and stuff, I wouldn’t have thought that every piece would come shrink wrapped in plastic.

I never write reviews but was so disappointed in the quality of this product. It was a nightmare to put together. The pieces do not fit together properly and instructions are a joke. I took it apart at least 3 times but each time the same result! I am beyond disappointed with the money it cost. I can see this lasting maybe one year. Wow!

This raised bed planter has been so wonderful for gardening so that I don't have to get down on the ground to take care of the plants. It is easy to put together with the hand tool provided or you can remove the head from the tool to use with your electric drill for an even easier time. The panels are a nice heavy duty construction and come in a way that you can customize the shape in a variety of ways. The finish stayed looking nice even after a whole season. It even comes with a couple of magnetic, dry erase, tags for labeling what you have planted.

This is my 2nd Vego Garden, and I love it! Vego Garden is hand’s down the absolute best raised garden bed kit you can buy! The modular pieces are machined exactly right to fit together easily, and the 5 bolts for each connection are easy to insert, hand tighten and then firmly tighten with the included bolt wrench. You can adjust the size as needed based on the number of panels you use, and this version has 2 different size straight panels to ensure you can fine tune for your use case.The panels are strong and will not buckle, and since they’re made of a steel core, with a zinc alloy overlay and then food-safe paint, I truly think this raised bed will last for decades. The 17” depth is fabulous for square foot gardening since the roots can reach deep. Vego Garden has thought of everything in designing this raised bed - capped bolt nuts on the top 2 bolts to keep you from scraping your hand when gardening, durable safety edging to put around the top (though all the metal edges are finished, it’s a nice finishing touch) and the included wrench has a removable head that can be used in a drill, if wished.As for the customer that gave this bed a bad review, all I can think is that she got a knockoff because this is truly the easiest garden kit I have ever used. Truly a happy customer here!
