**EDIT** I regret that I have to update my glowing review. After a wash and wearing a second time, the seam on the inside came out and now there is a flap and it no longer has the firm control because of this. Additionally, the legs are digging into the crease of my leg even more. The lace is still beautiful, but after washing (no dryer) and that whole seam coming out, the support is gone and the boning really did in when you sit at your desk too long.Not firm support but just enough so your bits don't jiggle. I'm 5'6 and 175lbs, had I went by my waist size it states I should get a XXL, I listened to the reviews and went by my actual size (thank you reviewers for the sound advice)! I ended up buying a L, but honestly a M would fit a bit better. It doesn't roll up or down, it did cut into the crease of my leg towards the end of a 10 hour day, but small price to pay for price and fit.

These are great and comfortable for several hours except they need to get rid of the lace on the sides as it allows the garment to roll up in that area and dig in to the thigh when sitting down. Probably isn’t an issue if you have slim thighs. Wore them to a wedding under a silk dress and I had to excuse myself mid-way through the reception to go and adjust them because they rolled up in that area and were painfully digging into my skin. A larger size would have been too big on me. Other than that, they were great and smoothed everything out. I’ll probably purchase again in black for other dresses because they were comfortable for the first few hours of wear, so I can wear them to short engagements.

Pros: Soft with a cotton crotch lining with a high waist that has 4 spiral steel boning (2 in front and 2 in the back) which would help hold them up. The lace at the leg opening is soft and not scratchy.Cons: Not true to size. These run a little small with the leg. Opening fitting more as boy shorts. The lace does not flare out as in the pictures. They are more tight to your skin. They should have been made with more lace. That gathers out to make it more flattering.I would buy these again, but in a larger size.

Really good shapewear!!! It's not high-waisted like I wanted it to be, but it's stretchy, comfortable, it stays in place!!! It was a great value for your money!!!

I am 2 months postpartum and had a wedding to attend. I ordered this as I wanted to look and feel confident during this postpartum season of life. I was very comfortable and I liked the cotton gusset. The boning gave me nice support in my midsection, but the garment was quite stretchy. The fabric is medium thick and the lace details were nice .

Worst design ever, I ended up with two gashes on each of my sides due to wearing these. The way the design is there are plastic or wire boning running vertically, however they poke up from the thin fabric and will stab you around your waist/back/sides. I made the mistake of wearing for my wedding and ended up with raw gashes and some blood on the inside of the gown from raw skin where the boning pushed into my skin. I bought the appropriate size so I believe this is just poor/cheap design. Save yourself the pain and buy better shape wear. This was a waste of money since I wore them and cannot return :( They should not sell these to people

I was skeptical about this, having had poor experiences with other shapewear. I ordered the nude color and was surprised at how pretty it actually was, and it was comfortable! I thought it might be too small, but it stretched and held everything nicely in place. It didn't roll on top, as some others do. At this pricepoint, I'm amazed at how well this is made, and how comfortable it was. The dress I wore fit slightly loose, so it was great. I don't think I would wear this under a form-fitting or thin dress.
