Good choice for Flair Pro.
M3 pro is perfect for my Flair Pro. I have compared it to several scale models from Ikape, Nutti and QP and it is by far the best fit. QP is the cheapest and has a lot going for it, but it’s slow, overhangs the tray, and is very light so when a button is pressed it jumps . Nutti is cute, but display is on the side and inconsistent sensitivity of its buttons is annoying. Two different models from Ikape - the larger one is too big for Flair, the smaller one, with rounded corners, is not bad but it does not have a flat bottom, - important for stability on the small tray. M3 pro is superior in may ways - it’s substantial, compact, bottom is flat, buttons responsive, display is bright and legible. Note that for the measurements you must position it so it does not touch anything on its side, not even charge cable, in my case inside but not touching Flair frame. I only use normal fully manual mode, but it has a couple of smart options that I do not care to investigate. Unfortunately it’s not waterproof like QP and Nutti, but it’s water resistant - the charger port is covered by the non-slip rubber cover, so protected from the spray. The scale itself is rebrand of one of many whitebird.cn models, just as MiiCafe and Ikape models, no matter the brand you get same hardware, and bucanim at this time has the best price for it. A solid choice so far, durability is yet to be verified.

This is the scale if you are using it to weight your shot for Espresso
I went through a bunch of scales looking for one that would actually start the shot timer within a reasonable amount of time after the first drip hits the cup. Despite claims all the others were 1g+ before the clock started which is a lifetime of drips if you're preinfusing and then ramping up. First, this scale is the first one that essentially starts the clock at the first drip (sometimes second if it's a small drip) so trigger has to be at .5g or less. There are others that claim this but this is the only one actually doing it. Second, and this was a massive bonus that came as a surprise, when it's in espresso mode it auto tares your cup and then auto resets after the shot it done. To explain: scale on. It tares itself to 0. Put cup on. It auto tares the cup to zero. Pull shot. It leaves the final numbers up for just enough time - probably around 10 seconds (I haven't timed it) and then resets everything after a 3second countdown for the next shot if you're pulling back to back. Looks hood, feels good, the silicone top pad is molded around 3 sides of the scale so it isn't slipping off like all the others that have it only molded down on one side. Like I said, if you're using this for espresso it's the one to get. Can't comment on how long it will last as I've had it for a week.

Espresso Mode Problematic but Good Customer Service
This is a nice little timer. It weighs and tares properly, and the normal timer works well. However, I purchased it for espresso timing and the E mode does not reliably start automatically, and most of the time it does not start. My workaround is to use the N mode manually. Disappointment reduces the star rating. On the positive side, customer service is exemplary and strives for satisfaction.

She’s tiny but she gets the job done.
I was annoyed at first not being able to get it to do its thang. I was already going to drop it off for a return when I took my time to play two more days with it. I finally got it. The only thing is don’t use the expresso mode it doesn’t do what it should. You definitely want to stay in G and before you extract hold down the left to get the A @to get it to go automatically when it starts getting the pour.

this metal scale is as good as a scale three times the price
I own many espresso scales from name brand to no name brands as this one... this one is my favorite and beats scales three times the price. If you are not looking for a scale that connect via bluetooth to you espresso machine you will be haooy buying this one

Doesn’t remember the last setting; or always work the way it should
I’ve been fooling around with this scale for several days and have concluded that it isn’t reliable and far from “smart” as advertized. The few times it worked like the directions indicated, I thought it might be a clever device, but its operation isn’t consistent. I have an espresso machine and wanted the scale to start its timer on the first drop of coffee and tell me the weight as it fills the cup. That is what this scale is supposed to do, but it DOESN’T REMEMBER the last setting even though it is in standby mode. So I have to fiddle with the only two inputs to push one 4 times and another a long press (and they call this a SMART scale). On the espresso setting after turning on from standby without the cup it is supposed to automatically tare the cup when it is placed on the scale; but it won’t consistently do that and pressing the tare button after the cup is on the scale won’t turn on the timer when coffee starts. All in all this scale isn’t worth the aggravation. There are too few input buttons for all the dubious features. I feel it should be Widlarized i.e. smashed into oblivion with a big hammer.
