The quality of the metal, finishing & workmanship are very good. I bought 12L size. I love to have this product. Unfortunately it is not fitting into my kitchen counter drawer. It looks they do not have smaller then this size. So, I have to return it.

I use this trash can to dispose my baby’s dirty diapers. I love it cuz the smell stays put inside itself. My dog can’t open it either and it looks nice as well.No default yet it’s been about 2-3 months since I am using it a lot.

Before purchasing I read a ton of reviews about how horrible this trash can was. But I decided to take a risk because I realized that most of the time when something’s working well, it won’t get reported as often if something wasn’t. The instructions to setting this trash can up was simple and I haven’t had any issues what so ever. When the time comes and the lid won’t open or close, I’ll then know it will be time to change the batteries. The can works just fine. I say it’s well worth the purchase.

Using this for past 6 months and have no problem with it. It is very convenient to have sensors. Just outed batteries once when it was new and still works perfectly. We use it lot of times in a day like every 20-30 minutes and still works perfectly and never had any issues.

I don't typically write reviews, much less for products I bought over a year ago, but I wanted to give a shoutout to Nine Stars for this one. We searched long and hard to find a nice-looking stainless steel trash can for our kitchen that actually fit in our space. The automatic lid was honestly just a bonus, but boy am I happy to have it.Our countertop extends out beyond the end of the cabinet, so other trashcans we tried would clang loudly against it when they opened. Or they couldn't be put flush against the cabinet because the opening mechanism protruded out from the back.This trashcan was exactly what we needed. Well-designed, sleek, compact, plenty of capacity, and easy enough to clean (and a lower price than most of the competition). I love that the lid opening mechanism is integrated within the lid and doesn't stick out the back, so it can be flush against a wall. The inside bag holder thing is clever too; no ugly bag overhanging the outside of the can, and it never falls in by accident. Shockingly, I'm pretty sure we're on the same batteries as when we bought it last year!Only thing that could maybe be improved: The sensor seemed a little too sensitive at first, so the lid would open when we walk by. Maybe the sensor angle or sensitivity could be adjusted so it only opens when you want it to...but hardly a deal-breaker for us. I'd give it 9 stars if I could.

Muy buen bote de basura. Obviamente no es barato porque pagas por el lujo de que se abra la tapa sola. Hasta ahorita llevamos solo 2 semanas con él y no ha fallado el sensor, esperemos dure buen tiempo por el precio. En tamaño no es muy grande como hubiese querido, pero es un tamaño razonable para cocina. Hasta ahorita todo bien
