Handy for the kitchen, when you can’t stand for long.
As somebody with a disability which means I cannot stand or walk for very long at all, this is proving to be a godsend, particularly in the kitchen. Previously I have tried perch stools (cumbersome and static), a wheelchair (too big and awkward for my tiny kitchen) and then saw a bolt of someone with MS who recommended this type of stool for use in the kitchen.I can adjust the height if I need to reach higher shelves or cupboards and because of its easy manoeuvrability, I can whizz easily between the sink, cooker and fridge (without having to do a three point turn like I had to in the wheelchair) it’s proving very useful indeed. The seat is wide and well padded and I have adjusted the backrest to the right place for me, so it is comfortable to sit on whilst I make dinner or bake something. My only gripe is that it is allegedly meant to take up to 400lbs in weight - and although I’m on the large side I am nowhere near that, but the seat does creak quite alarmingly when ever I sit or move off the seat. Does make me worry about its longevity. But so far at least, I am very happy with my purchase!

A great purchase
Fantastic item.... So comfy and glides around perfect for hairdressers. Wish I had bought it years ago.

Good but the saddle is a bit too wide
Bought this saddle stool to help with a hip problem that is exacerbated by sitting in a standard office chair. I was hoping to have my legs as straight as possible but the saddle is very wide so you end up with considerably bent knees and your legs pushed apart considerably. A narrower saddle would be better for what I’m looking for.The angle of the saddle is not adjustable but the standard position isn’t bad.The back rest doesn’t really offer any support to be honest - I’d suggest buying the stool without one. I might take mine off.Real easy to assemble, feels solid and pretty comfy overall. Good product.

Fabulous stool
I been going over all the saddle stools to find the best one and I have to say this is perfect. I’ve had it a couple of days and it’s so comfortable, I didn’t realise my old one was so worn out. One delighted customer…..

Sturdy stool, helps remind you of posture
I bought this stool almost one year ago, half expecting that something would break or stop working properly in less than that time. Well I have been pleasantly surprised in that the stool still functions as it should, and I have used it every weekday since the day I got it (working from home). I use it in conjunction to a standing desk, and I highly recommend this is how others use it, as it means you can adjust the seat to the most comfortable height for you (for me this is at it's highest point, and adjust your table accordingly. It helps me remember not to slouch, as slouching on this chair is not very comfortable for long periods of time. My philosophy is to not stay in one position for too long, so this stool is perfect for this as it gives me freedom to sit upright, or slouch, or lean on my desk, or on one leg more than the other, for short periods of time I hate rigid chairs that sit you in one position because I cannot sit still for the life of me!Anyway, great purchase, which is why I came back to leave a review for anyone else considering purchasing this.

Really helps my sore back
I suffer from scoliosis and an old injury to my lower spine. Sitting typing at the computer all day I was finding at the end of the day my back was really sore. I decided to try a saddle stool chair. The first two weeks I found my hips were sore but it was because I was using different muscles. I must say this chair does teach you to sit correctly and I love it. I no longer have a sore back at the end of a long day and even when I am using different chairs I am aware that I no longer slouch. Seat can feel a bit hard at the end of a day but I would rather this than a sore back. I was a little worried that I would not be able to use my foot pedals but soon found it was okay. My daughters have sat on my stool and both say it is comfortable.
