OXO Good Grips Dustpan and Brush Set

Well designed, small - be sure to check measurements - clean up brush. I purchased the horizontal version where the handle is on the side. i 've bought this before and it's a great choice for dedicated counter and tabletop cleaning. The brush is deep-ish, about 1/3 in., and medium stiff. It picks up crumbs and coffee grounds, etc. well. The attached dustpan is exactly the right size. They snap together so you won't lose anything. The case protects the bristles. Currently I'm using it for pet food mats. Because of the size and case/holder, I can just tuck it against the corner so it's very handy. My other one is used just for counters so it keeps eating area tools separate.

Great dust pan! It's small, compact, and allowed me to effectively, functionally, sweep up cat litter in a jiffy earlier today. I used a rubber band to temporarily attach the brush to its dustpan housing bc I didn't want to struggle to remove the brush from its housing (see attached photo). The brush snaps well into its dustpan housing-- so well that I have to struggle to pull it out of the dustpan housing. By rubber banding the brush, it allows me to quickly pull out the brush and sweep up the cat litter that the cat throws around outside the cat litter box before doing its business, if you know what I mean. The Compact Dustpan and Brush Set is composed of a durable hard plastic; the dustpan has a rubber lip that makes it easy to sweep the cat litter particles into the dustpan entrance and prevents the cat- litter particles from sliding underneath it, which happens with other dustpans that have this feature. All-in-all, its good value for the money, and the color is white.

I've been using these OXO sweepers for many years. I got my last 2 at Bed Bath & Beyond over 2 years ago, & 1 of them had a warped edge, so when using it to sweep the dust/cat litter would go right underneath & it got very tedious to use it. To be fair, I put them in the dishwasher multiple times, so I think that's why 1 got warped. I just wanted 2 new ones. It was definitely past time to get new ones. I saw that there was an updated version & I was very happy to try it. OXO products have never disappointed me. They're well made, sturdy, very useful, especially this one for the cat litter, & they're longlasting. It's lightweight, easy to use, picks up all of the litter or whatever I need to sweep up. I would definitely recommend this brand & this specific product to anyone. I paid $11.99 for each one, & I decided that I'll replace them about once a year, since I do use them a lot. I have 1 in the bathroom for the litter that gets out of the litter pan & 1 in the kitchen that I use for non-litter sweeping. It's a very good product. I really love the redesign. They look almost identical, but the new version works better. Very happy with this purchase. I will definitely buy more next year. 5 star seller sent it almost immediately & I had them in less than 48 hours. Great brand & product.

I have to laugh at myself...I was not looking for one of these sets when I bought it. I happened upon it here and after the incredible reviews, waxing poetic about a little dustpan & brush, I bought it. So, it's good quality and certainly looks nicer than most, and works pretty well. For the price with ship included, definitely worth it. I'm an Amazon vendor myself, and this item is over 1 lb and not that tiny, so it would cost a good $10-12 for me (with my shipping discounts) to ship it anywhere in the USA (2022.) Here's what I don't love: 1)The brush width is narrower than most. Depending on where you're using it, that can be a good or bad thing. I bought it to keep near the cat dish so that I could do a quick sweep. I wouldn't mind having a few more inches of width on the brush part. Funny though, cuz the dustpan part seems about as wide as a "normal" one. 2) My biggest gripe is that it's actually not intuitive when you go to put the brush back into the bin. You MUST have the OXO label facing up towards you, or the brush handle won't fit into the dustbin handle. I kept pushing and pushing, couldn't figure out why it wouldn't go in. Once you know, it's no big deal. But, I'd prefer it if you could just mindlessly put the two together. 3) The bristles on the brush after only about 5 easy uses already has some side ones going "astray". That doesn't make it look/feel like quality. 4) It is definitely heavier than the normal "cheapies" that you can pick up. If you are dealing with any type of gripping issues related to weight, you can keep that in mind. Weight often does mean quality, and maybe that is true here. I'd say it feels twice as heavy as the one that came with my Lidmore kitchen broom (and granted, that is skimpy, but it works well.) 5) Oxo has soft of a "soft plastic" grip on many things and that's true here, too. I find I don't like the feel of that soft plastic, even though the shape of the grip is comfortable. I hope this less enthusiastic review helps someone. It's nice, but I don't find it GREAT. I'd also prefer a darker color, the white is going to be looking dingy pretty fast.

It's just a dustpan. That's what I thought, anyway. Nothing prepared me for the truth. Do you remember the year 1995? I remember it a little. Irony was the realm of artists, not memes. When you said the word grit, folks still thought about John Wayne instead of grade school programs. Modernity had only partially wiped us of ourselves, the Internet was still only barely there. Social media was nowhere to be found, we still spoke to one another like people. It was a simpler time before we all became cyborgs, but a time of widespread ignorance as well. Sort of like the time before I found this dustpan. But also in 1995, AOL was king. America was coming online, but hardly anyone knew what that meant. No one could have predicted where it would go. The advent of the Internet was one of those world-shattering moments that changed everything. Sort of like a few weeks ago, when I ordered this dustpan. When it arrived, it wasn't packed in one of those matte finish, sleek boxes you get with Apple products. But it wasn't the packaging that sold me. Just a dustpan in a heavy paper jacket. It was like any other dustpan, or so it seemed. When you're holding a dustpan, you don't expect much. 2019, 1995, 1975, it doesn't really matter. It doesn't seem like dustpan technology advanced that far in 30 years. But then I used THIS dustpan. You've probably been using dustpans your whole life and never thought about what is too narrow or too wide, bristles that are too long or too short, the rigidity of the brush stroke, the angle of the handle, or any of that. You grabbed some random dustpan, probably the peasant garbage included with your broom, and rolled with it. But OXO had a different idea. They set out to revolutionize the dustpan and they did. Remember using a plastic or metal dustpan where all you could do was brush in about 80% of the material while the rest of it slid underneath? Say goodbye to that. This dustpan has a rubber edge that is just the right amount of firm and flexible. It meets the surface, conforms, and captures everything. As you draw your brush across the floor, the bristles are so soft and so gentle that you barely know when they touch, but an inch or two into the bend, the resistance is just right to let you know it's time to hold it steady on the pull. The result? No splayed-out bristles. No springboard-style kick back that sends your crumbs across the room. I could go on and on. The angle of the handle is just right. The way the brush fits into the pan feels like German engineering. I've never had a bad experience with this. Not once. It's a joy to use and I mean that. Bad day? Top off a cathartic cleaning session with this brush pan and you never lose that cleaners high. I thought this was just a brush pan. I wasn't prepared for this. It is a brush pan. But so much more. Five. Stars.

Small cute and convenient brush that takes very little space. I like the way you sweep the dirt into the holder of the brush.

This is the best dust pan I have ever used and I have one in my kitchen and one in my garage. It is very durable and easy to use and it is the only kind I will probably ever buy.

OXO Good Grip Dust Pan Set Hi Everyone: It’s usually hard to find nice and interesting things to say about a dust pan and brush combination, but in this case it is surprisingly easy. Both these OXO pieces ( brush and pan ) have been engineered perfectly for the task intended. The brush is curved very so slightly to a perfect angle that is super comfortable when using, and the dust pan has an orange lip that goes from one side to the other and it is very soft. Being this soft this orange strip lays down perfectly onto any surfaces, allowing the dirt to be swept into the pan with precision and ease. Both pieces are a sand / soft grey color that look beautiful with the orange and black coordinates. The inside area of the pan has a gloss sand / grey surface, and is flat coloured sand / grey on the outside. The brush sand / grey colour is all glossy both sides. It is absolutely just the perfect size when compared to all the other dust pans I have ever owned and held in my hands. The OXO people did it 100% perfectly on this item as usual. The dust pan is about 12.5 inches long and 8.25 inches wide, and the dust pan handle is 1.75 inches wide and 3.5 inches long and very easy to grip securely. The pan will sit flatly on the floor on its very own ( you don’t have to hang onto it ) and you can sweep the dirt into the pan using just one hand. The brush is 11.25 inches long and the broom part of the brush is 6 inches wide with the handle being 1.35 wide and 3.5 inches long and is flat and easy to secure firmly. When not in use the brush locks into the handle of the pan and both can be stored in a hanging position on a wall etc, via the large holes in both the handle and the brush. My last dust pan combo was a well known brand name that I paid about seven dollars for on sale, and It never worked correctly or efficiently and looked horrible. So needles to say that this was a major double increase on the spending for this item. I’m very pleased to report that I am super happy that I made the decision and chose this item over another “ useless ” Rubbermaid Dust Pan Combination. It’s so beautiful looking, I now display it openly in my laundry room. It is indeed A few dollars more but I recommend this product 100% to everyone that uses a broom to clean their floors. It will sweep you off your feet instantly. Another 10 out of 10 product for the OXO Corporation . I hope my review was helpful.

Was suprised by how small this items is, it felt and looked like it belonged in my Daughters doll house, play house, i mean its the size of my palm so not ideal for a normal household.

Love the sturdy bristles to get in to the grooves on my wooden dining table. Easily sweeps away crumbs and stores in the tiniest space due to its compact size. Good price for this quality mini dustpan and brush.
