An excellent read.
I am grateful that the author made time to record his military experiences and to do so in the clear style in which he has written. A must read book for anyone who is interested in this type of military experience. To survive the experience when the odds are so heavily weighed against you is really inspirational.

This almost borders on unbelievable. How one (well-trained indeed) man can endure going through all these 'externals' and survive in the face of a fierce enemy is beyond me. Luck or was God on his side? Both, I think.

Perfectly done and very easy to read ... i really love his books and the way he wrote about his MACV-SOG missions. it is definetely a "MUST TO HAVE" book for all the history lovers and i higly recommed it.
