A useful little device to have as it gives you a torch and a couple of emergency power options.
If you have a DeWalt cordless power tool that uses 18V batteries then this little device just slides onto one of the batteries and gives you an LED torch which has its own on/off switch and 3 separate power output connectors. The power output connectors are 1 x 12V 3A DC5521, 1 x USB C PD and 1 x USB A QC3.0 so cover most of the power sources you are likely to need. The 2 USB sockets each give out a voltage of 5V so can be used to power your mobile phone if you unexpectedly run out of charge. The adaptor is constructed of rather brittle feeling plastic, so will unlikely survive rough treatment or a drop without damage, but the price is very affordable and provides useful functions.I would have preferred it if the LED torch had been on a swivel so that the direction of the beam could be adjusted. But the adaptor is still very useful and certainly worth keeping in your tool bag, as it is one of those items that you never know when you are going to need it.

Very useful to have in a toolkit.
I'm a freelance IT consultant and frequently have to take a tool-bag with me to do things the staff in the companies I work for.A big part of this job is having to expect the unexpected so I'm always looking for ways of keeping the weight of my tool-bag down. I have a collection of De Walt battery-powered tools (Hammer drill/screwdriver, hot glue gun and soldering iron) and three batteries to share between them. This little adapter allows me to leave my other USB chargers behind, as plugging one of my three batteries into it gives me USB-A, USB-C and a 12V output for my LED lamp. I can charge my MacBook Air and my iPad and iPhone with it. There is a small torch built into the adapter which is quite useful for lighting the floor in front of you as you work. I might be working in a data cupboard or under a line of desks and not have enough light to work with.Small enough to put in a large pocket, the adapter also has a 'useful' plastic belt clip which I found so tight it was hard to get on and off my belt in confined spaces. The silver wrist-strap I removed as it just got in the way. There is no battery or complex electronics inside it so it hardly weighs anything compared to the multiple USB chargers I had to carry around before, and means I don't have to leave the position I'm working in to find an available mains port, so I'm considering leaving my 6-port mains extension bar out of my bag as well now.

Does what it's meant to but slow charge !!
Seems really well made but the charge time is painfully slow I'm not sure if I need a better cable or something though but my Motorola charger seems to be a lot faster !!! I'm adding to this review because I bought a 12 volt pump for air beds etc and the so called 12 v is only putting out 1.5 volts useless ABSOLUTELY USELESS IM NOT HAPPY AND NOW I CANNOT SEND IT BACK BECAUSE I ONLY JUST GOT THE 12 V AIR PUMP

Very handy!
Great accessory for the toolbox or to have lying around as a battery bank. Instead of letting your DeWalt batteries sit doing nothing till the next job, how about using them instead of spending extra money on a stand-alone battery bank.Initially, it took me a bit of force to get it to clip properly to the battery, but since then it now clips on with ease. If it isn't clipped properly, the battery will most likely fall off if picking it up by the strap, found this out while sitting down at least, so no damage done!In terms of the supply, it was able to fast charge my phone without issues. I didn't test the 12V output port as I've nothing to test with really, but it's there if ever I need it!The light is good for its size, I wasn't expecting miracles, but it works pretty well and has 3 levels so you can stretch out that battery life if needed.A word of caution, I don't know if this has any sort of battery management built in that will shut it down if the battery level gets below a certain point, so my advice is, to try not to let it run too low, or you may risk depleting the battery beyond use with its charger. If this does happen, you can 'jump start' it with another DeWalt battery and might be able to recover it. Internet search how to do this if it happens to you. Same for storing this unit, I wouldn't leave this unit permanently attached while not in use.Overall, I really like it, I think it's handy to have and isn't that expensive in the scheme of things, especially if you already own DeWalt or Milwaukee!

Versatile backup
I have a couple of DeWalt batteries but not a tradesman so don't carry them around with me every day.I can see myself using this as an emergency phone backup for camping or hiking. The torch might get you out of a bind but it's not incredibly bright. It doesn't weigh much, but is maybe a bit bulky with the clip . You could clip it to outside of a bag easily but his would leave the contacts exposed to any rain.Important thing to remember is you will need to bring the appropriate charging cables.

Toolbox must have!
This is a great adapter for on-site work. It allows you to have a multifunction adapter for USB plugs for charging which all runs off a standard Dewalt battery or similar. The unit is nicely made and works really well. Great addition to any toolbox and have on site as a backup charger/torch .
