Absolutely beautiful walking stick. I recommend 10/10. Very sturdy also. I suffer from some neurological issues that make me off balance and this stick really helps on my daily walks. It also doubles as a tool to ward off unwanted animals.

Vive’s Exceptional Craftsmanship Hiking or Walking Stick
I often visit the Low Country, Near Santee S.C, where I love taking long walks in the woods.Occasionally, I may run into stray dogs that may become aggressive over their territory.I initially would walk with a branch stick that I would use to fray them away. This normally does the trick. However, I began to realize that I needed something more durable and handy for my multitasking exercise.Initially, upon searching several online sites, noting caught my attention. But suddenly, there was your Vive Stick that popped up! For me, it felt like love at first sight!Then, the more I read, I would soon realize that the Vive stick was the one I had been waiting for!I immediately made the purchase, and it shipped immediately.I am around 5’10 in height, and pondered the idea of getting the 55” stick, or the shorter version.I must say the 55” choice matched my height perfectly!The craftsmanship and overall woodworking carving appears to have been done by a very skilled Craftsman.Mine has a slight curvature at the very bottom that isn’t noticeable, but I love how it adds to the uniqueness of my stick!I give Vive an overall A- plus on a job well done!I hardly ever write reviews, but I am so pleased, that I knew I needed express my approval, with hopes that someone else may benefit from my experience.I’m loving my Vive Hiking/Walking Stick!Get yours today!

Stability in a stick
This is EXACTLY as advertised which is a rare thing. I have balance issues but I dearly love walking in the woods. I am so happy to have found this as it has given back something that was so precious to me. A cane is too dangerous in the woods but this stick (whom I named Salix) is almost an answer to prayers.
