This kit came with gaskets for the sink basin but it's highly recommended to simply use plumbers putty the first time and be done.Finish is nice and so far has been scratch resistant.The pop up stopper eliminates the hassle of setting up the lever for a non pop up stopper.

I checked over and over on the sizing of this before I ordered. I needed it to fit in a 1.5" opening and be non overflow with threads to the top.This did not fit in the opening even though it clearly shows 1.5" in the images.Other than that this is a very high quality piece so if you can accommodate its size this might be the right solution for you!

This is a heavy duty drain. It is metal from top to bottom. The stopper glides in and well out easily with a catch trap. Top is smooth and great color. Works great.

The media could not be loaded.  I got this because the finish on my previous one was flaking off. This one hides the outer ring that you usually see on these. I am hopeful that the angle of this one will help to keep the finish on for many years. It has a curved umbrella shape, so physics tells us it should keep everything moving down and into the drain.I will update if the finish ever starts coming off.But so far, this is a good replacement!
