Easy-Pack of Painted Wood Bird Action Markers for Wingspan, Set A, 40 Pieces

These bird pieces are so cute and I was excited to add them to our game play experience. I already have the wood resource pieces and thought it would be fun for each player to have bird pieces to use rather than the little cubes. I mean, it’s a bird game after all. I do really like them for using on my own player board. Where they fall short and fail is the round goals chart. They’re too big! You can fit one or two in a square together, but that’s it. So we’ve gone back to using the cubes on the chart when there’s more than two players.Also, two of the hummingbirds, which have very fine, delicate parts and cuts on them, came broken. On one, a small piece was completely broken off and the other had a part that was barely hanging on. We tossed small bit and glued the other piece back together. It was workable.One request - make the cardinals a bright red! They’re the same muddy brick red color the cube is, which maybe was intentional. But I would have liked it better as a nice cheery red.
