So much nicer to make perfect cuts than a saw. Did 600 sq ft flooring quickly with perfectly square ends, no sawing or saw noise or saw dust. More flooring to do.Also cuts easily cuts hardy plank siding (less than 8mm thick) with perfect ends without dust, or noise.No more worn out and expensive, saw blades to replace two or three times to finish a project.The cutter may pay for itself in saw blade savings after one modest project. Haven't had to sharpen it yet, but it comes with a tool to sharpen after a couple hundred cuts.... Not sure how that works yet, but I've sharpened things before, how hard can that be?You may need a wider unit for wider planks and angle cuts. 9" works for our projects just fine. The knee pads were a nice add-on -- my knees thank whoever thought of including that idea. Mine didn't come with a carry bag. That would be nice for moving and storage of the cutter, the sharpening tools and more...

Received with damaged box. Sometimes that happens in shipping. However inside the bags were torn open and the hardware was loose in the box. Had unmatched screws? Base was scratched up. Needed immediately or I would have returned.

Easy to use. Functioned well and good pricing.

My wife and I bought it for a home flooring project, 2/3 of our home, it was 20.00 cheaper than anything at the box stores. It has been working flawlessly!

only useful to cut laminates 4 - 8 mm thick, any thing beyond that then use a mitre saw (useless for anything with foam core of 10 mm)

You still have to use a little muscle, but it works and gives you a square cut

Makes cutting flooring so easy!
