This is well worth the cost, built 20 kitchen cabinets using this pocket hole jig and really enjoyed the easy setup and having the vacuum Attachment port is awsome. I originally purchased a Kreg jig but it broke within a few minutes and had to return it to the lumber chain store (Depot) and I found this for a lot less and with more options. Just keep in mind that you have to set it up and use it properly in order for it to last, make sure that the drill bit is spinning and is centered in the hole with very little resistance before plunging it into the wood oe you will definitely damage the guide hole.

I'm a novice builder but needed to stop attaching boards from the outside. I ordered this jig and have used it quite a bit while building my greenhouse. For the novice, once you understand how the guide clamps to the wood and the placement of your pocket holes, you'll wonder why you didn't invest in a jig earlier.It has been easy to use and has made my build quality look so much better. I definitely recommend this jig for the novice/beginner.

Does a good job for pocket holes. The bit did snap when a teenager was using it but I think he was just a little over zealous.

A well made pocket hole jig. It includes a lever type clamp that is fully adjustable for the thickness of the wood that you are using. The entire tool is made of aluminum and steel for long service. Two drill bits accommodate both deep and shallow holes. The pocket guides can be used on a fully portable mode to place pockets in areas that would be difficult to insert into the fully assembled tool. I would buy and use with confidence.

Decent kit with accessories, dust collection, but not perfectly perpendicular which is not really what you're looking for in a pocket hole jig.

I'm building a coffee table after years of not building anything with wood—the project called for Pocket holes which I've never done before. After watching a few youtubes and trying it out on test samples, I've got it down. This jig works well as I've made about 30+ pocket holes using it. Drill bits are obtainable from this site- get the correct size. I highly recommend testing drilling holes on sample cuts to learn how this works. Also, ensure you don't accidentally drill into the metal base- not good. Set the depth by aligning up the wood to be cut next to the drill bit to see just how far this will pass through the wood. Set it and then drill.

Way better priced than Kreg brand but works just as well. I've used mine in several projects now and the drill head is holding up

Decided to get this pockethole jig because I wanted a dust port. I was using an old milescraft version, no issues with it, just hated all the wood chips that came from using it. This jig was surprisingly so good! The only plastic on this jig is the dust port, everything else is heavy duty. Markings on it are clear and easy to read, the base unit and drill unit can separate for those huge boards, extra holes to secure base unit if needed, and the dust port works amazingly. When I was using the milescraft version I hardly ever had clean pocket holes. I didn't realize that it was caused by the woodchips. This jig produce clean pocket holes ever time when I used it with a vacuum. Side note: I didn't use the included drill bits, I used my own so can't comment on it. But everything else about this jig is great. This is going to be my default jig going forward.
