Simple, easy peezy install, plopped my media creation tool flash drive with Win 11Pro and on my way
I liked everything about the transaction, the drive arrived on the date specified, opened and installed, loaded my Windows 11 Pro media creation flash drive and voila, on my way to PC happiness. No problems or difficulties at all, total time including loading windows and all updates to make the drive functional, 2 hours. That includes 56 updates, and the drive is blazing fast, delivers everything the ad said it would and more. FIVE STARS *****

Slim form factor, but I was able to use it anyway, and it has worked with no hitches for 7 months.
So my AM3+ PC fried back in December 2019 from a wrath of god power surge. My neighbor gave me a selection of her old laptops that had various issues, and I was able to get a Sony Vaio working by replacing the failed hard drive with this drive in January 2020. Installed windows 7 Ultimate x64 on it, and so far I have no complaints relating to the drive 7 months later.It was much slimmer than I expected (if I had a connection splitter I could fit two into the laptop), but I was able to install it in the larger drive bay without any hitches. At this time I have no reason to give it less than 5 stars in all categories (although with it in a Sony Vaio I can't exactly test high end gaming use), and the price was very affordable.Being used in a Sony VAIO VGN-FW560FIntel Core2 Duo P7450 @ 2.13Ghz6GBs Ram512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4650 (Sony)Windows 7 Ultimate x64Thanks to this hard drive the laptop has kept me connected, and able to do some things (like stay sane), but god I can't wait to assemble my gradually collected pc parts for a new Rog Strix x570-E gaming pc inside a Thermaltake Level 20 GT ARGB case. When I do, I will probably leave this hard drive in the Vaio for a back up (and portable) computer.

Great for anything requiring STORAGE! Buy it if you don't need something as fast as a SSD.
I've had mine for about 2 years and its still great. Keep in mind its not SSD speed but still incredibly FAST. And for the cost its great. Just know if you want an HDD at SSD speeds go Solid State Hybrid Drive. Other than than its great, durable and pretty fast as an HDD. Best for Laptops, Desktops and my PS4.

Broke after a few months! Lost all my data!
This hard drive only worked for 8 months until completely dying. It was used for business purposes. I tried to retrieve my data with no luck. All work related data were gone so I have to redo months of work. I contacted the seller in hopes to use warranty (5 years). However seller requested the hard drive to be shipped back for testing. After explaining that this disk contains sensitive work data seller refused to give a refund or replacement. I was only offered a discount to buy a new hard drive. Disappointed to loose so much data and also not get covered by warranty! Don’t recommend!

Just what I needed.
Wanted to upgrade my laptop and needed speed and storage. Decided to go with an old 128 GB SSD that was stored away for a build. Never used. Put the SSD to run the OS, replacing the slow 1 TB 5,400 rpm HDD and bought this Barracuda Pro drive for storage. Games, applications, mapped folders to it, the works. This one's 7,200 rpm and it's better than the drive it replaces as the original idea was to use the old drive for storage but didn't want to deal with how slow it was. Installation and formatting was super easy and had absolutely no issues thus far. Would totally recommend.
