The mechanical ball lasts longer that many other similar, overcomes easily various floor impediments (carpets, rugs, etc.) and it’s the least annoying I’ve got! I’m attaching just the most recent video I recorded mainly to illustrate that.My Tom favoures mostly such interactive toys and I grow beard each night when he requests to play. 🤬 The textile part of this set is used with ALL of them and I think a kitten would be ecstatic to witness a play offer like that. My cat is just occasionally spending time chasing hidden object but nonetheless I kept the set for value purposes.He favours the mechanical sphere the most, given his other choices are about a dozen similar pieces, and I can use the textile “sleeve” to combine any with any. When guests are around, they try to engage the cat mostly with this set as textile covers good floor area and several guys can sit around comfy.

It's an interesting one this and this review is cat specific. I have quite a nervous cat that needs encouragement to play, she tends to respond mostly to movement under things so I tried this. It works just as described and the ball has a good battery life. My initial thoughts on it are:1. when the ball is inside the round bag thing it is quite loud due to the rustling from the bag and the ball moving. This initially scared my cat.2. When the ball is used outside the bag it moves very quickly across the room darting all over the place - this also scared my cat.What I have done is use it for a week or so inside a pillow case, getting her used to it, it works quite well like this as it limits the movement of the toy and its more like something is rummaging around. She has just been laying next to it watching. Last night it escaped of its own volition and she suddenly started to chase it - which was great to see.So yes this is a good toy but you may need to adapt it for different cats - you could use the ball in differs ways - inside boxes with packaging or other items and not just inside a rustly bag so its worth experimenting to see what triggers your cat and to keep the toy interesitng.

Spread out play area, sit back and enjoy hours of your cat's antics.The only noise really is the rustling of the play area as your cat's pounce on it. On pink setting, the battery lasts about 2 hours. On blue setting, slightly less. Excellent construction quality of both the ball and play area. Play area is wipe clean.This toy has fully engaged 2 one year old Tom cat's, and everything they could throw at it. I've had the product a few days now, it's still survived them.Other toys in the past has lost their interest within 30mins. Not this toy, they don't leave it alone once put out for them.Best money I've spent on a cat toy.Cannot recommend highly enough.

My elderly cat isn't very interested in this however my younger cat seems to like it. They prefer the ball out of the bag but it does mean it can sometimes get stuck under furniture whereas in the bag it doesn't get 'lost'. More a kitten thing I think. It quite sweet when it makes the tweeting sounds though, it does sound like a bird flapping around.

Don’t waste your money. This is an overpriced waste of time. The product was torn at the seem on arrival. The ball itself while chargeable won’t switch on. A complete waste of time and money. DONT BUY treat your cat to a proper toy that will actually work!!

New kitten loves this thing, the ball toy especially. It's fast, flaps and hops about all by itself, my kitty chasses it non stop. Battery life is great for such a fast toy. Value for money.
