The app is completely useless. Luckily you can use the Divoom app to search for more designs and then transfer them to iDotMatrix but it's tedious and confusing at first.

The media could not be loaded. ((UPDATE)) The seller sent a message that the app had been fixed. Unfortunately all they did was hide the flaw. Where before the bolder easier to read font got corrupted, now they change the font when you save it, so that the thin (ugly IMHO) font is used instead. This avoids the corrupted text, but doesn't fix the underlying issue of being unable to use the other font. Maybe in another month or two they will get that working.---------The display seems ok, how bad can you mess up a 32x32 LED matrix, but the software controlling it is HORRID and non-functional for my intended use.-When you enter a text message it seems fine in the editor, but once saved, it gets corrupted or there's a stack overflow in the buffer or something, because it turns into gibberish.-The number of pre-made images is very small compared the the competitor, and after an hour I still haven't figured out how to save an animation or picture....its that obtuse. The biggest issue besides no clear way to save animations is just that the message text feature is 90% useless. Hard Pass on this brand

Scaled the GIF to 32 x 32 pixel. Animated GIF playback is very slow. No way in app to adjust speed. From PC I increased GIF playback but didn't help. You can import individual JPEGs or PNGs of the GIF but kills the quality of the image vs the anim GIF. 😩Also if you plan to use anim GIF you are better off with the 64 x 64 pixel.-Returning...

This is a really cool display.The display, first of all, is really good, sharp, bright, and clear.It is easy to use and install.Where this really shines is the app.It has so many options, from the fun of letting the kids draw their own design, to the clock, score board, animations (and ability to make or edit your own), to the schedules you can set up to let kids (or adults) know what they should be doing in their daily schedule.Such a cool product that I didn't know I needed until I got it.I am thinking of buying another one for my girls as well.

This is a fun little toy. You can make your own pictures on the app to display or use the cloud ones. It does simple animations, a stop watch, scoreboard, and even an alarm clock.

pros: excellent price point! it works well, and the animations are fast and crisp.cons: it's not as vibrantly bright as the pictures suggest, though it's still usable. also, the colors are all tinted blue.as a cheaper alternative to other pixel lcd panels, this is pretty nice. it's got a few downsides.
