Ok
Very good

intrigued the adults too
This went down well as a birthday gift for a four year old, but also entertained her big sister and parents. Please note that the sticks can be put in squint (not just horizontally), further complicating the game. Personally I like the fact it isn't yet more plastic

Wooden Issue
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love a wooden toy, especially if it can replace a plastic version however being wooden is this toy's downfall. Being wooden means the sticks are rigid and can only be placed going directly across the toy. Once a rod has been placed, you can't place any other rods on the same level unless running parallel to that rod. This makes the game very predictable and not as fun as the plastic version.

Granddaughter loves it. Helps with learning colours, hand-eye coordination, etc. Will last longer than plastic.

A Wooden Version Of KerPlunk
The media could not be loaded. This is essentially a wooden version of KerPlunk. What You Get:A Wooden Tower36 Wooden SticksA Wooden DiceA Drawstring Bag To Keep All The Sticks And The Dice InSetting The Game Up:Insert the sticks wherever you want in the frame. Note that as the sticks aren’t flexible, they can only go in horizontally straight across or tilt up one level. I was actually left with 6 sticks to spare when I put in as many sticks as I could.3 Ways To Play:1. 2 Player game. Use one ball and take turns removing the sticks. Whoever allows the ball to drop out loses.2. Use all of the balls and take it in turns to roll the dice. If the dice lands on yellow for example, remove the corresponding coloured stick. Continue until all balls have dropped. The player to have dropped the least amount of balls wins.3. Each player chooses a ball. (If there are 3 players for example then only 3 balls are used in the game) Take it in turns to roll the dice. If the dice lands on yellow for example, remove the corresponding coloured stick. The aim is to get your opponents balls to drop. The winner is the person whose ball remains in the tower when the others have fallen. What Could Be Improved:I would have liked a tray for the tower to stand on, as when the balls fall out of the bottom, they roll across the table. Conclusion:Recommended for children aged 3 and over, I’d say that was about right. It promotes a child’s logical thinking and strategy whilst providing fun and creating competitiveness.

Sturdy, well made and great fun
I am reviewing a wooden kerplunk type game. This game came in a box containing the wooden tower and a strong storage bag holding 36 wooden sticks, 6 coloured balls, a six colour die, and the instruction manual. The game is sturdy and appears well made, there are no rough edges and the vivid coloured paint has been carefully applied. It is easy to set-up and play and is a lot of fun. Although it is aimed at children aged 3-6 years, my 8 year old loves it too and we both enjoyed playing it. I especially like that it is a wooden version of a toy more commonly available in plastic, and so is more environmentally friendly and much stronger. It is a fun yet educational game which promotes colour matching skills, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking and would make a great gift.I highly recommend this game.

Nice wooden concept based on Ker Plunk but I prefer the original
This is a nice game as a precursor to Ker Plunk. I like that it is made out of wood so is safe for children and recyclable. The fact that it is made from wood means the sticks only slot in directly in front or up a level in a horizontal line unlike Ker Plunk which allows the sticks to go diagonally all over adding more mystery and fun to the game. As the sticks are in one direction only, you know which sticks will cause the balls to move.It is good enough for children until they understand the concept and predict what is going to happen which is when the game will no longer become fun.The game itself is well made from wood and the colourful sticks add an element of interest. The entire game pieces have smooth edges making it safe.I prefer the regular Ker Plunk as it can be used for all ages because it is not predictable.
